Rudeus Greyrat's little sisters Norn and Aisha are two popular Mushoku Tensei characters who were born in season 1 of the Jobless Reincarnation anime series, and whose lives play out throughout the Mushoku Tensei light novel series. In this video I talk about what happens to Norn and Aisha Greyrat in the series, including things like who does Norn marry? Do Norn and Aisha get along? I do love how Mushoku Tensei has such a number of interesting and fairly developed characters that the story can shift from action adventure to drama to shojo slice of life and it all seems to be a completely natural part of the overall story.
I love it for that too! It’s slice of life stuff is just as intense as the plot heavy stuff.
That's what you call life. And Mushoku tensei showcase that really well, unlike other isekai(Looking at you in another world with my smartphone).

Another tragedy of the Warp Explosion is the relationship of these Sisters. If they had been raised together in the house I am sure they would have been best friends. Its kind of sad to think about.
idk, they were only separated for 2 years and they were very young at the time, so I don't know if they'd have been that much closer if it hadn't happened. There are too many other things at play like the difference in talent, the fact Lilia made Aisha feel insecure about her position as part of the family, and so on. They both get their own nice circles of friends as they grow up and I think in a way that's more realistic (I'm an only child so I wouldn't know really, but nobody I know is best friends with their siblings as an adult!).
@@NatalieXHunter I just think that if they had been raised in the house with their Family, instead of Norn's Grandmothers, they would not have been pushed apart at such a young age. Your right in that nothing is for sure, but they would have had a better chance when being raised in an environment that didnt force them apart. Still what happened happened. As for you last sentence I am in fact Best Friends with my Brother (FYI this is my Wife's Account, so yeah I am a Guy), but we do have about a 10 year difference with me being the oldest. I guess we both see different possibilities due to our own life experiences.

Another great video. When I first read the web novel months ago, I did dislike Norn as to how she treats Rudy but with that is a good character who slowly lowers the resentment towards him over time. Aisha might be best younger sister but Norn is definitely best irl younger sister because how real siblings fight and argue and is not always sunshine and rainbows .

I like how they give his little sisters a little spotlight and development of their own as they all go there own paths at the end of their stories and have families of their own.
Norn is an interesting character, i can why people hate her in the start but the way she thinks actually make sense in her pov, also nice video, thank you!
The chapter in the light novel where we see Norn's point of view made me respect her a lot because of how much self reflection she has. She could have just continued on hating, and being afraid of Rudeus, but she took a mental step back, and looked at everything objectively, and realized that Rudeus' actions weren't fueled by indifference, but rather fear of losing Norn.

I really liked the part of the story where Rudy was forced to be the guardian of the two sisters and got a first taste of kind of a parenthood. It was nice to see how he was struggling to keep the high standard of Guardianship that he has and he often judged Paul against. I think that experience with his sisters, helped him to appreciate Paul more, when the tragedy happened.

You know Norn and Aisha are like their mothers in a way. Zenith is a rather normal woman and it’s only because of her healing prowess that she’s not but even still, she wants a normal family life. Lilia became a maid later on but she was rather talented herself and being a maid wasn’t a first choice whereas Aisha wanted to become a maid at first due to reasons but then seems to branch out and fully utilize her talents
I think the thing with norn is very weird. She's clearly had a daddy issues type of attachment to the good old reliable father figure strong man rujured and as a result when she's of age then she marries him and bears his child
It feels very weird to me, like a pre school girl liking a teacher throughout pre school then highschool then marrying him after she finally graduates.
Either way it's not nearly as weird as what happens with Aisha and her getting with Rudy's son.
Overall I prefer Aisha simply because she feels very mushoku tensei while norn does feel like a more generic character- which is clearly intentional as it's supposed to support the theme that she's a "normal" person
Yeah, I prefer Aisha too - Norn is a nice character but I prefer the less 'normal' ones. Even when I'm thinking about the story I get Norn and Lucy mixed up because they're both kinda normal compared with the rest of the family!

I also like Aisha more than norn . And i think what happen to norn with ruijerd is pretty ok since they both adult and regarding age difference, i think we cant use our world logic in there ,there's tons of race with diferent lifespan and time to reach adulthood.
What i cant accept is what happen to Aisha tho, incest is way worse than cheating, it has bad psycological ,social and health impact, and i cant believe Rudy let that happen to his family,especially with the reason Aisha and rudy's son go with each other, Rudy son's just like her breasts and Aisha have some mental problem with how she don't get to explore more of her life compared to norn
@@datguui9021 Rudy was actually extremely disgusted with the whole thing when he found out and wanted to tear them apart. It's only when they ran and hid for a year and had a lot of time to think and calm himself that he ended up in a compromise. There was no actual way to resolve that mess, especially when Aisha is already pregnant.

I think amazing growth for Ruijerd could be if his daughter is the reincarnation of Laplace since while he loves kids, he does also hate Laplace and even if he gets over it, it would still be interesting. Laplace could live as a woman and it would be interesting if Lucelia’s personality is lost or changed or combined. It could also just very well be Laplace is Ruijerd’s grandchild too from Lucelia. Not necessary to reincarnate in the same gender body
Perugius did say that Laplace would be reincarnated as a male with green hair though. I mean, it's possible Perugius is wrong, but given Luicelia is born in other loops Orsted has seen I don't think there's any way she's him.

Given the only thing we know about her in the future is that in other loops, she helped Orsted fight Laplace, and was the last Superd, it seems like that won't be the case. She won't be the last Superd in this timeline, given the whole village are alive, but the fact she was implied she hadn't had children at the point where she was fighting Laplace.

Norn trashing Roxy when she arrived home, gained me my respect. She is not afraid of and became a voice for Sylphie's feelings that she cant say. Her being a writer too is so good as well as her fans club literally be officially recognized by Rudi.

it upset me how aisha was neglected and lead to think to little about her self and the fact that her brother did nothing to help her out of this toxic mindset that her mother implanted in her,, ,, she has tooo much potential if she actually got a good education there is no say how far she well accomplish
He did try to tell her, literally in today's new episode he tells her. But he just never saw quite how badly it had messed her up, I think. People can't always know what is in someone else's head. It is shown though that he never saw Lilia and Aisha as lesser than Zenith and Norn - maybe you haven't seen the new ep yet though, it's only been out for a few hours.

Yes, well, the bad timeline for sure - the ones without Rudy I can sort of cover but we only know bits and pieces about them.
.Very relateable story that hit abit to close to home in some ways. i enjoy it their story more than i enjoy Rudy's story, makes it harder to wait for there part in the story.

No, unless I'm remembering it wrong. She wrote biographies of some of the characters though.
The one who wrote the encyclopedia was someone else, around 100 or 200 years after the events of the story, but he mentions that he got information from the books Norn wrote.
The one who wrote the encyclopedia is one of the descendants of one of the maids Ariel brought to sharia.

It was written to demistify Rudues's name as it's slowly lose from the minds of the masses, as he helped on many projects made by other prominent personages of his time, he's achievements are often times confuse from the others, especially in his later years,thus there are people branding his name as claiming other achievements for his own, the encyclopedia is made to clarify what he did and did not do, although meta-wise us readers know there are some falsehoods mixed in in that book

Yay, I get to be a grammar Nazi. Rudeus's sisters not Rudeus' sisters. The second is used to show plural possessive, not the possessive of a name ending in 's.' Unless we are talking about the sisters of two characters both named Rudeu. Don't feel too bad, I've seen the British press do the same with Prince Charles in the past. OK, rant over :)
I always thought it was always correct to just stick the apostrophe after a noun ending in S as a possessive, and it was just a matter of preference whether you did it the was you say (and I think it looks less messy this way, especially on a thumbnail when it's all in caps), but honestly, I can't be bothered to check, lol - it's funny because my real last name ends in S (Natalie Hunter is a pen name) and I've always written the possessive this way when talking about stuff that is mine, so if you're right and the second S isn't optional then I've been getting it wrong a loooot of times. I think it just looks a bit rubbish though (which doesn't mean it's not correct of course). Like, especially if a word ends in a double S... Like, would you really say 'the business's end of year report' or 'the princess's dress'?

Personally I think little nit picky items like this can be easily excused in common usage. Just remember it for formal occasions, like wedding invitation, birth announcements, and the like. I find it more agregious when professional publications commit small errors. I also agree with you choice to error for aesthetic purposes, even if the choice isn't technically correct.
I was literally a professional novelist before I started this channel, so, I do kinda care about getting things like that right... But you're the first person that has ever noticed (or I guess, maybe that's just what editors are for...). And LOL, what is a birth announcement? She literally doesn't stay just as a maid though - it's in the video. She ends up starting a mercenary company and is really successful at it.
I want a familly reunion at the very, very end of the series. It would be insane to see Zenith, Lilia, Rudues, Eris, Roxy, Sylphi, Norm and Ruijerd and their kid, and Rudues's six children with their spouse. I think it would be great to have them all in one place to celebrate at the end of the story because I think in the novel, they're all around the world doing their own thing.
I've watched a few of your videos and to be honest, if you can't tell the story with spoilers then either give a spoiler warning or don't bother. Fact is, most who would watch these types of videos don't care about spoilers. If you are anime only and looking these up you want to know the full story. Also, the whole "I won't go into this because I did another video on it" ok then don't drop the title as if you are going into it.

Hey what’s up; I have something interesting to bring up.. I was listening to the light novel again. Where Rudeus reads the diary of Future Person... There’s a part in there that had me thinking. In the future person timeline. Do you think Eris sold herself to Minister Darius. To keep Rudeus safe. So the Azura Kingdom wouldn’t go after Rudeus for the burning incident and hand him over to Milis? Where that person was hung on a stake and rocks thrown at her. Rudeus burnt everything around. Or would that be to dark? He says “The Azura Kingdom. Are real idiots, not putting 2 and 2 together.”
Personally, I don’t think they’re idiots.. Thought, he must have a person of high authority sticking up for him. It has to be Darius or someone from the magic academy. Also, it mentions in volume. How dense Rudeus is, a couple of times. Idk I was just curious on your input. Thanks for the videos.

OK so just a little curious, what makes you so certain that there will be a sequel series Natalie? Does the author say that anywhere or does the story just have that much left that it shouldn’t have a sequel series?
It has always been the plan AFAIK (it's written in such a way that it is obvious from very early on that the main story will extend beyond Rudeus' lifetime, due to when Laplace is due to reincarnate, but Mushoku Tensei is Rudeus' story). I don't really keep up with the author's QnA's, but most people believe he'll start on the sequel once his other series Orc Eroica is finished and the last Japanese LN of MT is out, so it could be as early as this year. He has already written the prequel in web novel form, Old Dragon's Tale (I have a series reading it out on my channel), and that also sets up events that would happen after Rudeus' death (where Laplace is the main character and Hitogami is the antagonist).

Well, he's 500 or so and she's in her twenties when they get married, but in a setting with long lived races it would be weird to make that matter - Elinalise is technically thousands of years old but she marries a human too. Normally with long lived races in fantasy settings it's kinda like, you have to either ignore the age gaps or you can never have any elf or whatever get together with any human.

Well, Ruijerd is probably the character you can trust the most around kids of anybody haha! I think it was more that Norn went from idolizing him as a child to falling in love with him. In other loops Orsted lived through they didn't meet until she was an adult adventurer, and they still always ended up getting married, so there's probably a thing that they are really compatible and fated to be together, but in this loop because of Rudeus he met her as a child instead of only knowing her as an adult. The fact they'd end up together even without meeting when she was a kid kinda makes it seem less groomy iykwim.

Rudius's relations with his sisters is pretty much realistic
In real life too, despite the fact that brothers and sisters live together, they always have some sort of distance and in 90% occasions they end up choosing different paths, having different lives and meeting each other occasionally in hilidays and parties, which is normal i think, when everyone focuses on their lives, have own families and focus on different things that they r interested in
Of course they r still families and love each other, help each other when needed, but they have now different lives as it should be
