Seriously. If Xavi and Iniesta are legends, then what makes Yaya Toure? Not saying the spanish weren't great, but some players control the ball whereas others control the space, and personally never seen someone as good at controlling the space as Yaya Toure. Put simply, he dominates the midfield like no one!
I don't agree with you, Yaya always lost the battle in controlling midfield when man city played against Barca and even against other teams too, but when xavi and iniesta play together they always dominate midfield!!!
Yaya was amazing . But pace control there is zidan then xavi and i see messi last three years is making everything and anything , messi last 3 years did evey little thing and every big thing in the book to be stolen by arrogant and hatered media from real madrid or man united control but i know itis another topic . Messi or /and zidan then xavi then u can put yaya together with scholes and one of my favourites is redundo in real madrid , 1/0 for real he put his tempo and pace to any game he was in .
In terms of quality, Yaya Toure in his prime shadows every midfielder to ever play in PL. Yaya from 10-14 was simply unplayable. Guy had everything pace, power, control, technique, flair, awareness, work rate etc you name it. Most complete midfielder PL has seen tbh. But in terms of PL LEGACY(most important criteria) and consistency in their older days(33+) Lampard, Viera, Scholes are better. These players have done it for a longer time and played more important role in their teams Yaya's legacy is one of the most unique but still below of the aforementioned names.
@Jay Are you blind? I said in his prime which was 3-4yrs in PL he was the most complete midfielder itw. But in terms of PL LEGACY there are many better.
Guys at the start when he's talking about the midfield play and wingbacks tucking in, he's ultimately talking about a numeric overload. That's basically when you have a extra player in a certain part of the field.
Yaya’s first language is not French. It is Senoufo (from North Ivory Coast). Then he learned French. Then he learned English. Maybe some Spanish and Turkish. Calm down, people.
Pep Guardiola made Barca the best team in the world from 2008-2012, he’s tactics and management is spot on and what an attractive brand of football he offers👌🏻
People in comment section talking about english, guys every indian speaks atleast 3 languages 😅😅😅😅being bilingual is a matter of choice don't make it issue. Yaya's job was to play football not to be an english professor
What he did for City i will never forget. Fa cup goal in the semi vs united to take us to the final against stoke for him to score the winner there too . That was the clubs turning point
I found it hard to hate this man. Top clas player 👌🏽🤞🏽 Played for Barcelona, as a Madrid fan I loved him. Then played for City, as a United fan I loved him. Pure class I tell you.
My Team would be 4-3-1-2 GK: Valdes RB: Alves LB: Abidal RCB: Busquets LCB: Puyol (C) RCM: Xavi LCM: Iniesta CM: Toure False 9: Messi LS: Henry RS: Etoo
Something you didn't notice is that he placed Henry at the sideline and not Messi. It is a paralyze system. You make opponents think you are not in a position to make a threat. You play more on the right side since most players are right legged. The body system get used to that side and when things turn around its a walk in the park. That was how dangerous Henry was used that time. Even to date they play more of right side. But when ball goes to Alba count it a goal or a threat. Simple logic. The mind got used to Messi on the right being the threat side. One becomes heavier to make a turn, a tackle. Why Messi playing on the right? Simple, to secure him from injuries. A right footed person tackle can hurt more with the right foot. Just like when he kicks the ball. During those days when Messi played on the LW he used to suffer more injuries. Long term injuries.
Many of man city s goals come from a pass from the wingers - sane/sterling/mahrez to the striker/winger of opposite side to tap it in to an empty net. It's fantastic to see each goal is a carbon copy.
I like the way he praises Barcelona dominance. You're under the impression Barcelona players could do anything without any doubt🙂 Pundit: could you play as a goalkeeper at city? Toure: definitely yes, I was coming from Barcelona. Pundit: could you fill the role of manager at city? Toure: yes, I was playing for Barcelona before. The truth is that Barcelona squad was full of monsters. The Messi of that time, was the player real madrid feared 😊

His vocabulary is pretty good and you can understand what he is saying. The accent is strong but he knows what he is saying and he speaks quickly.
Especially funny coming from English speakers who are notoriously poor linguists.
Much respect to him as a player despite the birthday cake hissy fit.
Ture was really amazing everywhere he goes 👌🖐️
Should have been Footballer of the Year in 2014
Seriously. If Xavi and Iniesta are legends, then what makes Yaya Toure? Not saying the spanish weren't great, but some players control the ball whereas others control the space, and personally never seen someone as good at controlling the space as Yaya Toure. Put simply, he dominates the midfield like no one!
Well said. At barca he was a cork around the 18 and at city be played that AND offensive. Box to box . Literally a steam engine.
Toure is legend... But xavi and iniesta were something else...a gift from footballing god
Did you just compare Toure to Xavi and Iniesta?... As much as I like him, he got replaced by a 20 year old Busquets.
These players have done it for a longer time and played more important role in their teams
Yaya's legacy is one of the most unique but still below of the aforementioned names.
Henry explains it a lot better...
Yaya’s first language is not French. It is Senoufo (from North Ivory Coast). Then he learned French. Then he learned English. Maybe some Spanish and Turkish. Calm down, people.
In barca, i trusted yaya. If he was in the line up. I know there would strength and consistency
He is the greatest midfielder ever
Pep guardiola the best manager in the world
i dont bivillit
Untill he can match Wengers 49 INVINCIBLES he is not the best.
@John Smith ooh johnny johnny... so stupid....
Darren lmao.
@John Smith wtf are you talking about?
He was a real beast at City! His runs were incredible
His voice is amazing!
What he did for City i will never forget. Fa cup goal in the semi vs united to take us to the final against stoke for him to score the winner there too . That was the clubs turning point
One of my best players ever
I found it hard to hate this man. Top clas player 👌🏽🤞🏽
Played for Barcelona, as a Madrid fan I loved him. Then played for City, as a United fan I loved him. Pure class I tell you.
Yaya's ears are very underrated
Empowering teammate in any team. Priceless...
Yaya should come back to city for management he'll be a good inspiration to the youth and a good figure around the 1st team squad
My Team would be 4-3-1-2
GK: Valdes
RB: Alves
LB: Abidal
RCB: Busquets
LCB: Puyol (C)
RCM: Xavi
LCM: Iniesta
CM: Toure
False 9: Messi
LS: Henry
RS: Etoo
Football isn't that simple yaya, only 3 defenders and mourinho is struggling with 11 😂😂
Jose Mourinho =25 trophies
Joas PL More than Moneychester City
@Jay Gotze is average 🤣🤣🤣🤣lol, squad player & that's it
@@MZorah10 no it isnt lol
@@MZorah10 jose has more pl’s than Liverpool not City
Thanks
@@Aisatsana1971 you are welcomed. For what though?
@@alingoxgaming387 I learned something from your explanation so I am thanking you
I'd take Toure, Xavi, Iniesta over Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta every day!
captain u smoked a lot perhaps😊
Do you know how many times I hear a lazy joke like that? lol Sooo creative. lol
Busquets is the best DM in Barcelona history, better than Toure for that position
Not for barca
Busquets fitted better to the Barca way
This guy was a very good player, and playing in that fantastic Barcelona team is something pretty much anyone would dream about
Many of man city s goals come from a pass from the wingers - sane/sterling/mahrez to the striker/winger of opposite side to tap it in to an empty net. It's fantastic to see each goal is a carbon copy.
You mean ~ Yayaa! Toureeeea!?!!!
I like the way he praises Barcelona dominance. You're under the impression Barcelona players could do anything without any doubt🙂
Pundit: could you play as a goalkeeper at city?
Toure: definitely yes, I was coming from Barcelona.
Pundit: could you fill the role of manager at city?
Toure: yes, I was playing for Barcelona before.
The truth is that Barcelona squad was full of monsters. The Messi of that time, was the player real madrid feared 😊
Yaya deep down wants to give away Guardiola's tactics.
I see a lot of comments about yaya’s accent. It is not his accent, he just needs to get his point across
If you know, you know
