Wow. This was a meditative viewing for me. I was looking for some inspiration for an idea of mine to create a simple sunny porch that I can use for both a sleeping and living space as well as a greenhouse during the winter. Yours came up. Really cool to watch you create this. I enjoyed the music and just watching the timelapse. Perfect amount of time too. I am indeed INSPIRED by your work, resources used, and filming of it all. Thank you!
I have done several projects also with old sliding glass door panels , built a garage , shed and a cabin with South Wall all Glass.. Look at the classified ads in your area, many people wanting to get rid of old sliding glass doors .
Sunroom Built for $250! With Found Old Sliding Glass Doors and Old Deck. Timelapse. Tools in Descr I used old sliding glass doors, and an old rotted redwood deck to build this sunroom. The only new material is the fiberglass roof. All the other material is left over, reclaimed, re-purposed, or found. www.lushplanet.net/
@@astroflight6571 What are the big pieces of glass for the walls made out of? Are they glass, or plexiglass? i live in the north where is gets cold in the winter, but would love to do this and it not cost me an arm and a leg for the glass.
Why don't people ever read the descriptions on videos before asking questions? Someone, please tell me... All the information is right there. SMH! It's funny as heck that people always think things have to be purchased.
I want to enclose my patio like this but my roof overhang goes about 4 inches into the patio where my wall would be (my patio has a slanted roof). Can I still enclose it? Do I just notch the 2x4s around the roof overhang? s62.photobucket.com/user/T1mac23/media/1913D8E6-506F-4D61-9CE0-9839911D110B.jpeg.html Here is a link to a picture. (Hopefully you can open it) The roof comes under the patio.
Didn't even explain anything about it ... Not measurements or tools need where get anything not to exciting the music was awful. How long was this project ????

Sorry this comment slipped through the cracks. Thank you! Are you building a greenhouse
Lush Planet, good job. I have done similar, but left the sliding glass frame on the glass for more stability, and deco look.

Really liked your build. We were thinking of this approach for growing starters for the garden.
how did you find the sliding glass doors for your walls?
Around where I live people are just getting rid of old aluminum sliding glass doors all the time. You can put a wanted ad on Craigslist
Awesome!
You are my kinda guy. Well done. Planning somthing similar but with tiled roof. Good job friend
I'm planning on doing something similar with a covered deck. Did you do anything to the deck flooring to make it more bug/weather proof?
Love it!!
