Honestly, this is true closeness and happiness. All the harem jokes and whatever don't mean anything to me, because they don't matter to Korone either. She isn't jealous, she isn't scheming, she just enjoys each day to the fullest with Okayu. She clearly knows all the little things about her best friend and the cat never treats Korone like she does the other girls either. Even if it's not love (who knows tho), the happiness they share improves my mood each time I see it.
