Nice short post! ❤ Decluttering is never a One Time and Done - if you are having trouble making a decision on a certain item, skip that thing and move on. You will come back at a later date and be able to make a more comfortable decision then. But, really consider NOT to keep items that cause you grief and bring up bad memories (e.g. bad marriage).

I'm literally watching this video as my bed is covered with clothes that I laid there this morning. I'm packing to move and decided this morning I'd sort through certain clothes, pulled them out, and put them on my bed to sort. Just as you said, it's too overwhelming. They've been there all day.
I promise you are not alone! Give yourself some compassion, and then decide to deal with 3 of the items on the bed. That's it. That's enough. That'll help you feel a little lighter and create some momentum. And then give yourself a break. And then decide if you'd like to do more. You can do this. Just do it gently!
I just get rid of anything that ‘looks funny at me.’ I had a boyfriend who was a mover. When h3 was helping me move out of my house I said, it’s too much. He said only take what you love.
