depends on ur town hall, i would wait until the pros started figuring out this new equipment and see what they say. my best piece of advice is, unless ur a competitive player just buy whichever u like most they're all pretty good
unlike the gauntlet, the spiky ball is only good once it is fairly high leveled, whereas my lvl 12 giant gauntlet already dismantles everything.
unless you have too many ores to use, i wouldnt buy spiky ball (same with fireball- its good, but only in certain strategies and costs even more than a regular equipement.)
