- Washington and Maine played in the Opening Round of the 2023 Little League World Series in the US Bracket. The LLWS is double elimination.
Covering sports in a unique way since 2018.
If you’re looking for high quality sports content, then this is the channel for you! I’ve covered Baseball (NCAA, LLWS, MLB), Football (NCAA, NFL), Softball (NCAA), Basketball (NBA, NCAA), Hockey (NHL), and much more!
The best part of my work as a RUclipsr is being able to provide coverage of sports that may not receive as much attention as they should to the large audience I have built over the years. Many of the sports I cover aren't posted by any other RUclipsrs, which makes this channel that much more important.
One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

The interviews they have with the parents are just awful and awkward. Probably should stop that. The baseball is the key here. Not their parents or their antics.
most of the teams seemed so much more impressive in their regionals. Not Washington. They continue their mercy rule shut out just like in regionals
Yeah for sure I noticed these teams looked way better in the regionals I thought that was only me that noticed that
A lot of us noticed it 😅 first round always has to be pitchers duel ig
That kirchoff kid has a really nice slurve and can throw the fb for strikes all day. But ya I agree the maine team looked way better in regional games. The best teams I saw from all the US regionals were E Texas and SoCal. But LA and OK, prolly even W Texas would all be my favorite if placed in any other region. FL and GA were good too. Idk why, but TN just don't seem that great despite winning a great region. Idk we will see
tbf they did face the team with the weakest ace in Maine. All the US other teams had kids throwing in the mid 70s, which could explain the lack of offense. Also Maine's errors gifted them like 6 runs I think, which also factors into their performance
@@zeebee3606 Tennessee is gonna make a good run
Im sorry Maine you make Us ppl in Massachusetts look bad we shouldve had Massachusetts rep for the LLWS
How the hell did Maine even make it this far….?
Underdogs
how can i enter a
team I'm from the republic
Dominican
I love how everyone in the comments thinks they are/ could be MLB managers. Just shut up and enjoy watching the kids have the time of their lives.
4:58 Seattle starts the key rally of the game...so they interview an usher and say nothing about a run scoring.
Washingtonians where you at
These boys making seattleites proud!
YEAAAAAAH SEATTLE, YET ANOTHER MERCY RULE SHUTOUT!!
Seattle lookin good!!! Congrats boys!!! Get em next time Maine!!! Thanks for the highlights Wheels!!!
My old LL team i played for NESLL back in 88-90 was an All Star too but we weren't built like this team,,
That’s my 12u team
Having 14 when you have to bat the entire order is not the best strategy. Not a fan of this new rule
Wait I’m confused by your comment what’s the new rule?
treys valid
I never let my kids throw to third from home. To much of a risk at that level.
I'll never understand why they hire terrible umps. I don't care if they are volunteers. Find good volunteer umps
Or you could sign up since they need your expertise
okay!@@RCVictoryLane
Let’s go Washington!! I play in The same district as them, and I’ve got to know some of their players. Hope to see them in the finals!
So proud of these boys, Washington has a special team this year man!
Angle Hernandez would do well umping here.
4:26 "Twenty-two pitches guys, seventeen of them strikes" Yeah, when the strike zone goes to the middle of each batters' box you're going to throw a lot of strikes.
I don't like this new rule about going through the whole lineup. It is going to make teams choose less all-stars.
Shortstop had a bad day. We all have that
Come on help your pitcher out boys
Why these kids make so many fucking errors? They cute tho
Maine was just terrible 🤦♂️
im confused how some teams have to play more games to get to the championship than others do. Like Media was in the opening round they had to win 4 games to get to the championship. while Washington was in one bracket and only had to play 3.
most of the time depends on the seedings teams couldve had a bye round where they advance a round due to just the way the brackets works where other teams played a game that round
love watching these as work!
Skipper pitching change in the 3rd
What's the yellow bat most the kids are using?

I went there and I was so sad to see Maine loose😭
Bro we suck 💀
wow Gray Maine, an hour from where i live in New Hampshire!
You know I was on tv that game
Come on Maine, infield work
FIRST
These have to been some of the worst teams I’ve seen in awhile in the llws. Not singling out any team but as a whole. Coaches need to teach the cutoffs and not to step out when swinging because you can’t hit outside pitches if you step out
The Washington team was fine now the Maine team on the other hand yeah they were terrible
Maine doesnt deserve to have a team at Williamsport. It's a joke of a Regional tournament. 4 of the worst states get 1 spot while the 8 elite Southeast states compete for 1 spot. It's like a corrupt democrat drew up the regional brackets.
Ah yes, making little league baseball of all things political I see
@@orangeflaws8088As if you didn't know that liberals make everything political. You're either ignorant or a liar... or a Democrat. Which makes you all three. Checkmate.
u were spitin till that last sentence
@ayozion yeah. I had to throw that in. Maybe bad judgement. But it doesn't seem right. The Texas division has 7 states as well. Why does the whole NE get 4 states per division. Seems messed up.
They expanded the regional field to 20 teams instead of 16 like it has been before. The U.S. and the International brackets have 10 teams each so it allowed states that wouldn’t have a chance in the old format get a better shot to make it to Williamsport.
How the hell did Maine make it this far? Their fielding was horrible as well as the wild pitches. Not trying to be disrespectful but they did not play clean and help themselves one bit in this game.
tbh new england is usually pretty bad, a perfomance like this is usually pretty on par for them
The continuous order rule is stupid. Everyone gets a trophy mentality.
