Awesome island!!! The music goes well with the scenery. You can keep your god's heaven, who needs that when there is heaven as beautiful as Bequia right here on earth!

Job well done. I have been away for 38 years, but was last home eight years ago and have forgotten how Bequia looks now,. I am from the main land, but it made me quite nostalgic. Planning to return next year. This drive was very detailed and informative, A+.

Thank you so very much for your videos, your commentary, your love of "roads less traveled" and your wife's navigation skills. The family memories you are making will be recalled many years in the future. I am honored to be invited to join you and your family on your adventures. With warmest greetings and heartfelt thanks from Western Pennsylvania (USA).

Hi my fellow Vincentian, this is another of your videos that I've watched and equally enjoyed. Thought I'll echo my sentiment. You are doing a great job, and I'm particularly pleased that you are knowingly or not, presenting work that is not just for our locals. I hope you get the point where English language is, or isn't standard language. I must thank you and keep on doing what you are doing.
As a matter of suggestion, perhaps you can select individual points of interest, throughout SVG, and if possible provide a little indept information on the sites that you might consider of interest to you and or the visiting public. That I know would be somewhat challenging in a single video, and so, maybe you might, if you so choose to accept the challenge, compile a single or a few sites into one episode/video. For example you can say feature Fort Charlotte and give a little history about it, enough to pique one's curiosity to want to visit that site. I don't know if you have already done so on any of your videos, and so if have, my sincere apologies to you. My suggestion is all genuine and I just wish lots more individuals get the opportunity to view your work.

Well that was certainly an eyeful, the areas are so built up now; but, I have news for you. You haven’t completed Bequia yet 😄 Where you turned around is called the Green and that junction you came back to is called Sugar Hill. The road up the hill you were not sure if to go up and didn’t, that leads to Bregan (Not sure of the spelling). Good call -private homes. The beach you didn’t go to off the lower road is Ravine and there’s no road to it - you’ll have to put on your hiking shoes, but it’s worth it. The whole area you drove is Mt. Pleasant. Back down on the main road you are in Belmont which ends when you drive down the hill, up and around the corner. You didn’t drive the back street which would have taken you to the SDA Church and Primary School, the Anglican Primary School. Turning right of that school is the Evangelical Church and a village called Cemetery Hill. Turning left of the school you would see the Clive Tannis Playing Field and up the hill is the SDA Secondary School. Beyond the playin field is Union Vale. When you past the hospital and turned left, the house directly in front on the hill was my Bagga grandmother’s house 🥰 The road you turned unto is called Broad Road and the one on your right after the Community High School takes you into Union Vale and my home. I understand you didn’t have enough time. That junction you came to is where Union Vale ends, it’s called Thomas Hill. Road to the right leads to Camel, Paradise, Hope Estate and Beach, next trip right? Right! 😁 The road to the left goes up to Union Level, Cinnamon Garden and over to Spring Hill (from here you can see Mainland. Driving straight ahead you go down into Spring Estate and Beach, then around to Industry Estate and Beach, then around to Park Estate and Beach with the ever present breakers forming a white line across the bay (reefs) Were you able to drive beyond the fence and gates 😔 (my family’s favourite camping area was just were you turned around near to the beach) is Park Point, then Sal Bay, Shark Bay, Bends Bay and Bullet Bay so called because of a bullet shape rock in the bay. All these bays are on the right side of the road as you drive eastward then you would come to Bequia Head, the end of the island with Mainland across the Channel. On the left hand side of the road is L’ Anse Chemis locally pronounced Lan Chemeze. You can see Mainland from here as well. Mmmmmm roasted fish, soaked in sea water with lime juice and pepper sauce, eaten with balls of farine yum, best childhood ever. To visit those bays mentioned you would need shoes for hiking, the only ones you can swim in is Sal Bay and “Lan Chimeze”. A day in Bequia is just not enough!! Thanks ever so much to you and your family. I pray that God shower you with special blessings!!! 🇻🇨🇻🇨🇻🇨❤️❤️❤️

Recently learned that the road to the East end of Bequia is now the newer, paved road to the left of the gated one which is the original road.
