- The small archipelago nation of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, located in the southern Caribbean, had previously suffered from a lack of connectivity, but a new international airport opens up potential for increased tourism and as well as investment in sectors such as agriculture and services. fDi Magazine editor-in-chief Courtney Fingar takes a tour.

You must go... my plan was to visit all the windward island, and and I was working my way south. when I arrived at st Vincent Just couldn't visit another. so beautiful.

terrific piece. would like to see another piece on the direct benefits to locals, who are not capital investors or have access to credit capital, with direct investment to deepen the local consumer market and build a sustainable inward focused sector. sustainable economic development must become a priority in a disaster backdrop.

I am proud to tell the world that I am from the beautiful island of St Vincent and the Grenadines, I think our airport should be named St VINCENT and the GRENADINES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, I was asked why argyle is only a tiny area in ST VINCENT a lot of people never heard of ARGYLE, think about it.congratulations Mr Primeminster great job Martin Marks daughter.
Argyle is the village where the airport is so it's only right that the airport is named so.

St Vincent is a religious country majority Christian with a small Muslim community.
More does need to done to attract more visitors.

Since this video, the volcano erupted and destroyed more than a third of the island.
More fertile since the volcano, land and sea is richer than before. It was a blessing and a curse

Although the airport is in use, sadly, St. Vincent is still waiting to happen.
What's good is an airport if businesses don't get financial help and sure markets. Still More to do.

Looking at this in April 2021. What a shame they will suffer for some years because of the eruption of the volcano.

I used the airport recently and I was disappointed at the poor service received from a Liat staff
I'm inclined to agree with the latest comment from katty, the Liat staff has always been a problem,but since the opening of the Airport they're worse no manners, no diplomacy, the majority of the staff needs to be updated in how to deal with the public.
lemme guess, u guys are vincentians whom love putting down their country.
Let me note beside the disrespect and treat I received from the LIAT staff I had a time in St.Vincent. I don't see stating the fact is putting down your country. How about making those who in charge aware to make changes to improve.

A leader in power for more than 10 years, despite how popular they are, is never good. My God, to put your son in a major ministerial portfolio is prime example of why this is not a good idea.
