after completing 6 years of MD program, can the student get license from Georgia? or its required additional 3 years of PG study to get License (appear for license exam in Georgia)?
Don’t make students confused just answer 1 thing whether after 6. Years can students practice as a doctor in Georgia without giving any licensing exam ??? And do Georgia provide permanent registration to Indian doctor after finishing 6 years course
Don’t worry students who had taken admission 2021 after nov18 or specially 2022 students will be graduated by 2028 and they will write exam in 2028 June or December.. after that it will be clear that what would be the future but as of now no country is safe specially Georgia
Mam from legal point of view one technical point arises here which may be problematic for indian students… that is ,in above notification they have mentioned that MD programme of six yrs is equivalent to MBBS in India and they can practice as a junior doctor in Georgia AS PER THE INSTRUCTION OF PG DOCTOR. Whereas in India after completing MBBS he can practice INDEPENDENTLY. He need not to work as per the instructions of PG doctor. This is the main difference and crucial point which may create problem. So Either Georgian govt should change their rule and issue licence as independent doctor or NMC should give clear notification that we will accept license as a junior doctor. Am I right madam? Kindly tell are there any chances of clarification to students from NMC or Georgia. Plz correct if anything wrong and plz guide 🙏
We are expecting for the georgian authorities to give the proper clarification in coming days. Registration is one of the NMC requirement, which Georgia is giving without any exams. Now it's NMC that's not giving any information clearly. Hoping for them to give some clarification.
@@meera_studyabroad Thank you mam for answering. Hope for the best. Plz be in touch with NMC and Georgian authority coz parents can’t reach to either of them. Thank u 🙏
Madam, herself is not clear when it’s categorically mentioned that junior doctor will work under certified specialist that means a junior doctor can’t work independently unlike India where a medical graduate after passing his 5.5 years programme can work independently. Also only in emergency situation when certified specialist is not present then only he will diagnosed the patient independently. That simply says Jr doctor licence is not a practising licence which NMC is asking. Ultimately the students who are going to Georgia won’t be able to sit in Next Exam. Only God or Court will help them!
I am very clear in what I have explained. employment as junior doctor is only after registration which doesnt require anyone to do PG in georgia. Registration is mandatory. Furthermore, we are also waiting for more clarification in future.
@@meera_studyabroad So that means we are still not categorically clear about the licence to practice due to which students will remain in dilemma and high risk involved. Which means students should avoid going to Georgia for MBBS as of now till the time people/students get the clarity.
@@AbdulAleemKhan-kb1qe Kindly check the notification once, it says, "registered with the respective professional regulatory body or "otherwise", this statement alone says that the country students go, shd get the registration which georgia is giving. so students can go to georgia.
Yes this is also one most important thing that NMC have asked for registered under any professional regulatory body…..from this point of view student gets registered after six yrs. The confusion is created due to two words only , that is junior doctor and independent doctor.
@@meera_studyabroad Registered in competent authority but should have licence to practice with that registered number. Why you are not talking about the law of Georgia which clearly says a junior doctor can not work independently, Jr doctor has to work under certified doctor and only in emergency he can perform his duties of diagnosing the patients unlike India where a doctor can work independently after MBBS. So why you are not telling about licensing to practice which is not there in Georgia for Jr Doctor. So the point is will NMC accept that licence and allow the students to sit for NEXT exam as Jr licence is not a license to practice.

Junior doctor registration is not enough to practice in India, dont misguide students
its better if NMC specifically says they dont accept this, as per my video, m informing whats been officially updated in the website,
