Simply the best. CCR is part of the soundtrack of my life. Still in awe of John Fogerty's unique voice. He makes me happy. Thanking God that I grew up in this era of the best music ever, hands down. It's stood the test of time, and my grandchildren even love Grandma's music.
If you ever get the chance to see John and his band in concert, DO IT! You won't regret it. What a showman. His band (currently including his 2 sons) is fantastic!

No, he actually just changes it up sometimes in live performances. The first time he says it you're right, but he does say tangerines and Elvis at 2:08
