  • Hey Guys,
    In this video I take a look at the Carpet Cleaner from Parkside(Lidl). It's a unexpensive product compared to it's competitors and it sure does what it is supposed to do. Take a look for yourself. You may or may not need to spend more or less time on cleaning the object depending on how dirty it is.
    In my case I took plenty of dirt and water and rubbed it deep into the object to make it as difficult as possible for the machine. After the video I continued around 10 minutes and got a very pleasing result and managed to use a total of 3 litre of detergent+lukewarm water.
    Enjoy!

    Sounds like it's a pretty decent machine for its price, but a quick little tip Markus! When doing wet vacuuming on a carpet like that, use high level shampooes made for it, you will find plenty online of good quality made for automobile use.
    And secondly, you cant just spray on the soap and vacuum it straight up again, use a drill with a drill brush attachment. Shampoo it with a good shampoo for automobile carpet, let it sit for 2-3 minutes, properly soaked, then drill brush it back and forth in a cross pattern, then use the vacuum with HOT WATER ONLY NO SOAP, in cross section, repeat untill liquid is clear to make sure no soap is left behind (that will ruin carpets over time), this will insure a perfectly good results, as this vacuum seems like it sucked pretty good. In addition, maybe you wanna get a smaller head for the vacuum, one that is not as wide as the carpet attachment you use now. Will increase power ratio and better to get access to spots.This is what i do to cars, and plan on with my new 9-5NG! I have watched a ton of your videos, which actually were among the things that made me buy my new NG9-5 (Damn you and bless you!), greetings from a fellow Norwegian SAABer

      Hey :) Yes I'm a newbie on these things. If I were to do it all manual I would probably spray it on and rub it in like I did with the dirt, lol! I actually never used the big head that came with the machine, only the small one. To be ownest. I'm not sure that any of these justify the price. If you add the detergent manually and rub it in, let it stay there for some time and then just use a regular vaccum cleaner that can take liquids i guess your fine. For 50 euros you can get that type of machine, but it was nice to try it :) Thanks for watching and best of luck detailing the NG9-5. BR Markus

    I have been workin many years in car cleaning and can tell you, the correct and better shampoo is the best deal you can do. Mostly i take those carpets to the bathroom first and preaclean them with manual methods. i also use high pressure cleaner for removing such deep dirt. After that i just use the vaccum cleaner to remove water and thats it then

    Lidl (UK) are doing these from Monday at £99 (that's inflation for you LOL). On the strength of this video, I'll be there 1st thing to buy one. My car seats are grubby, though nowhere near as dirty as that floor mat you had! I'm sure it'll be a good buy, I love Lidl tools...

    Get a drill brush aswell, all your doing is spraying and sucking without it being agitated so I’d recommend and medium/soft drill brush. Soak the mat give it a scrub and then extract

    Love the video... I recently bought one from Romania, it was on sale for about 75 euro... I highly recommend it for a person like me who cleans floor mats once in a while... Have you tried to use a brush to agitate the detergent and then use the extractor ? ... For stains like that I recomand to saturate the mat in dish soap and water and agitate that with a brush... Let it sit for 5-10 minutes then do the extraction

      i personally get mad of the loud noise, I prefer a silent regular vacuumcleaner at home. Also this machine doesn't have a hepa filter.

  • @andreasc.1523
    @andreasc.1523 2 года назад +1

    Just spraying and vacuuming doesn't do much with such stubborn dirt if you don't work on the dirt a bit with the brush in the meantime so that the dirt can also be loosened! Especially when the dirt is deep in the fibre. The only thing that is done here in my opinion is to rinse the dirt with the detergent without dissolving the dirt.

    • @TechCars
      @TechCars  Год назад

      Well.. It should be able to suck the fluid back up. Is it working 100%? Maybe if you test it on a easier surface before using it? If it's wet keep using the suction without adding any more water to the carpet

    Du solltest als erstes den Dreck absaugen ohne Reinigungsmittel, dann sprüht man ein und lässt es auch einwirken! Erst dann saugt man ab. Am besten arbeitet man das Reinigungsmittel mit einer Bürste ein. Liebe Grüße

      I just wanted to see how good it performs. What it's cabable off and the easiest way was to simulate dirt in a floor mat. Imagine that you have that under the shoes and it gets into the mat and it's dry. I had to have alot of detergant and I continued after the video for around 10 minutes. Then the mat had to dry and now it looks like it's new again :) Thanks for watching.

      @@TechCars yeah,but you can try with the normal dirty,i mean you can try to clean your car or your carpet or your chairs...no like you do...because this is the normal life...Normally before to clean with water you have to put out all the powder and is for that,because if you dont put out you make a big chocolate...but you not only dont clean the powder first,you put the big mountain of powder and after the water and this is not a normal use...excuse my english but never i have study,i have learn on the street...

    Agitate the cleaner inside that carpet with a soft brush.. or you will never cleat that carpet the way you do it. The cleaner is more than enough to do the job.. You are the one that do the job in the wrong way.
