- Hey guys I'm back! I know I've been gone for a little while but here's why! I started the the PTA program and it's very demanding! I don't really have a lot of free time any more but I'm going to still continue to try to post. This video is an informative video on what not to expect entering the PTA program. It's also my journey on how I got introduced to physical therapy.
I'm happy to know I'm not alone when it comes to studying! I love to learn, but the process of taking everything and remembering is frustrating when you don't know your studying style. I was actually accepted last year, but I didn't think I was ready and that was one reason why. It looked very daunting. I'm a PT Tech now, but I hope to re-apply next year. Thank you for all the insight!

Shout out Co23! 💪🏼 You’re spot on girl, my husband has really had to take on things at home because my nose is always in the books or I’m out at study group. And finding a study group is hard and certainly like dating lol. I know what you mean with being too similar and not getting much done, def want to get with your group tho! I promise I’ll shut up and work 🙏🏼

It’s a lot but def isn’t impossible! Stay on top of homework and studying and you’ll do fine!

Hii Im a South African High school student and I wanted to find out are there any prerequisites that u need to do before PTA
Hey there👋🏾 so each school is different when it comes to prerequisites. I would look up a local school in the area and get in contact with someone that is apart of the PTA department and ask questions. Some pre classes that I remember that I needed for mine are
*English 1 & 2
*Biology
*A&P 1&2
*Algebra 1

Truly. But stick with it! It’s totally worth it. I’m now a practicing PTA and it’s one of the most rewarding and fun jobs ever😃
