In this episode of HeyWoah Advice Corner, I talk about how to prepare for your first warhammer age of sigmar tournament, both logistically beforehand, gaming supplies checklist, and some advice. Featuring creature caster, trophies, adepticon, raid shadow legends, diablo immortal, golden daemon, karate kid, big trouble in little china, big brain, games workshop, 40k, office space, poker, magic the gathering, mtg, dice, gaming, gordon ramsay, metal gear solid, phantom pain, bane, edh commander, and stihl.

Based of this video I either have an AoS tournament or a landscapper interview later this week and im no longer sure which.
Another important thing to bring: sensible, comfortable shoes.
You are going to be on your feet for _hours._ Do yourself a favor, and wear good shoes. Your footsies will thank you for it. A yoga mat to spread over the floor of your side of the table can also help.
I hope to meet this Swoleflexia on the glorious battlefield some day.

At my first tournament in October I lost every game got the wooden spoon but I also got the peoples champion award (most polite and nice award) so I’m happy
That's nice to hear! Sounds like you had fun and kept level even through hardship (and possibly bad dice luck in a few occasions?)
The wild Vince Venturella in the "waifu key chain" bit took me by surprise and "i like men now" (ralph voice).
Anyway, wanted to spark conversation on the terrain rules topic: i tend to play at high competitive level (not bragging btw) and i can assure you that "mystical" is very good for monsters, especially mega-gargants because it is a nice little bump to the effective wounds and "damned" and "deadly" are good for slaanesh to farm a little bit more depravity. I do agree that, a part from these scenarios, terrain is basically just shit on the table you have to move around.
Oh one last thing: this video is, of course, BIG.
If I wasn't playing with almost exclusively stonehorn that have a 5+ anyway this would be quite true.

This is the best AoS channel on RUclips and it isn't close.
The attitudes expressed around this game, even at a competitive level, esp on this channel are what ultimately drew me to it. The "take my pet list and go 0-2-drunk" tactic was the usual goal of my 6+ person playgroup that would go to a weekly MTG Legacy tournament circa 2010. Desperately trying to recapture that energy of friendly nerd poker followed by $5 apps and buckets. Thems we're the days I tell you what

I probably won't ever go to a tournament - it's not really my thing - but you make the best aos content and are actually funny, so it's still worth watching.

Don't care if the burger recipe is a meme, gonna try and make it now. Although I might swap out the red onion for white.
it's condensed for the vid, but it's pretty close to a real recipe I've used before, nice and spicy. Paint them with butter on the grill, bison has a habit of going dry due to leaner than most red meat.
It will be a little less sweet but I expect very good!

I love the Honest wargamer clear objective markers, we have tons of them at the local club (enough for 18 tables I belive).
BUT.. God dam I dislike that they are YELLOW, I'd wish for some less obvious marking, make it less colorful, perhaps grey/white or greyish teal, while still better then most, it still ruins the boards estetic a bit.

They come in various starter GW boxes you may or may not be able to buy them separately. Ask in a GW store they might have a bunch laying around to chop up.
@@HeyWoah Oh those! yeah I got a red one in the Battle for Macragge years ago, which helpfully snapped in half. My friend who runs my local Warhammer store gave me another one but I lost it.
Anyway I've never seen a stick like that segmented. I'll have to snoop around ebay and see if I can find one.
