What are the part numbers for the incandescent and LED bulbs? Looks great.

Love it, will a 93 SSP be the same 160 mph cluster. 2 gauges on right are out and just ordered a cluster circuit board because this one is out together with duck tape 🤦🏻‍♂️. Thank you video is awsome

Interesting choice on the LED's, and reason for retaining any OEM bulbs other than not wanting to rob them from a pinball.

Ahh yes. That’s so the turn signals and warning lights aren’t too bright since the bulb is directly behind the translucent image. The gauges are more indirect related to the bulb, to the brightness should be perfect.

@@Foxedup Good call. Wouldn't want pew-pew lasers every time you changed direction.

Thank you so much for posting this. Extremely helpful!!! I have an 88 Mustang GT convertible that I bought new in 88. This video gave me the courage to tear the instrument cluster apart and replace the printed circuit. I noticed however that one of your bulbs has a tan socket and a resistor in it. Mine didn’t have that. Do you know what that particular socket/bulb is for? And what year is your car? Thank you.

What is the wattage of the resistors? Amazon has 0.25, 0.5, and 1 watt 3.9K resistors. Thanks for giving me the clear directions to troubleshoot my gauge cluster on my own. You rock!

It's been a while since high school shop class; I can't remember how to read those stripes! I'll let you know how it goes.

Well, the gauges don't work and I can see why the speedo was insanely bouncey. I was able to find a OEM cluster, but the speedo is still a smidge bouncy and a few bulb are out. Looks like a long term project. Thanks.

@@Liz_in_Yrisarri Yeah that bouncy speedo can be a tough one. Were you testing it in the car or on the bench? If in the car, it could be the cable or gears.

Hi, do you know anybody that does cluster rebuilds? My fuel gauge isn’t working properly and we’ve replaced the sender and fuel pump, but the gauge does not seem to be working right.

Unfortunately i dont know anyone that does that. But you should be swap that gauge pretty easily with another one.

@@Foxedup thanks for the quick reply and the suggestion of swapping the gauge
