My dad's brother had one of the monorail sets so we have some track, two motors, and the cars. I didn't know how rare the motors or sets were until I watched one of your videos! Now knowing what I posses is kinda crazy!
I've seen lots of lego cities scaled on the mini figs, but I've never seen one scaled on the technic figs. I have a project of warehouse with technic equipment, and I hope I can use some technic figures in it
Interesting video :D! I do think that Technic sets should include figures because most other themes do. However, I assume that the Technic figure is pretty big (at least bigger than a Minifigure), so the cabin height of vehicles would have to be increased, which could be a problem (both when designing the set and because it would look odd when compared to or played with recent Technic sets).
Good point. Perhaps LEGO should introduce a brand new type of technic figure, one that would be compatible with the vast majority of modern lego technic sets.
I've got some, including the #3. This is a really nice video, and there are not much about technic figures on RUclips, so massive thanks to you for releasing this !!!
set 8250 is not quite the "only" submarine in the lego technic range... the old space shuttle (8480) had a cool submarine as the alternative build instructions
i remember watching lego car race videos back when i was 7yrs old i guess. the videos had these lego technic guys in the cars. cant find the videos anymore:(
i have a ton of these i basically collect them. i have most of the figures plus the powerpuller driver and the submarine with working cd and figure, i also have that set in really good condition with the three figures, the wrench, and the chair. ive also gotten the suitcase with that giant monster thingy and those two plane things where they gotta hit each other to win.
I pretty much own all of these figures except the power puller I was nearly close to getting a years ago but I decided not to and get the lego creator Ferrari biggest regret
I have the 8620 and 8660 Artic sets. I only have the Tech3 figure between the 3 that were in the sets. But the Tech3 "Skiier" is the set only figure for the 8660. To say rare, you would have to know how many sets/figures still exist. As per Brickset 1550 people "own" the 8660. But this is hardly accurate. Bricklink says the figure is worth like $4 used. The other figure in the 8660 is worth 4 times as much, but is in two sets. So finding expensive sets to determine rare figures isn't really good either.
@@Unbrickme Yes, tis I.. lol.. It seems even a unique part in a set that may be rare doesn't mean it's valuable. Even low production number sets don't. All comes down to perception of a few people it seems. It would be nice to know who is actually setting the scale for the pricing. Some of the Technic sets in the 42000 series that retired are worth less sealed than they retailed for. Even with low ownership numbers shown on brickset. But then, there are certain sets that just skyrocket in price after retirement.

Thanks for telling me how rare my figures are
Edit:
OMG I have Nr.5, sadly without the set
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO! I remember I'm used to have an 8300 set with two lego technic figures, but now it's probably lost🤷♂️
Man, technic tech033 in my country (Poland) is around 50 PLN, so that's about 11 dollars.

Saying no pressure while showing the pnumatic cylinder again

i love these figures. i hope they come back. I still have the BORG ones from the rock-em sock-em robot styled shooting pair set.
I feel like if we didn't get a new Technic Figure in sets 42109 or 42127 then we probably aren't getting any new ones any time soon.
@@AaronAlso yes...but i can dream.
Visio idea:what are the top 10
best lego technic power functions sets
wonderful idea!
The question now remains…what was the last Technic set to feature a Technic figure?
You could try buying the individual parts of the power puller
True but even then it would be incredibly expensive
@@Unbrickme ya it would
@@Unbrickme maybe it would be a bit cheaper tho
If you count official B sets, then there is another submarine available... B model of the 8480 space shuttle.
Yeah, but I decided not to include b models.
I honestly had no idea they did these customised figures
yeah they stopped making them like 20 years ago.

$150 for a sealed set?
That sound cheep compared to modern prices
1:30 I had a guy like that but plain Red. I think I lost it though
Aw man :( I hope you're able to find him again
@@Unbrickme same
Just curious, do the technic figs fit well into the sets 42056, 42083, 42096, 42115, 42110 and 42126 ?
I have a box of maybe 6 figures in varying condition.
