      Did you end up leaving the o2 sensor where they reached or extended them? I installed the pipes and am having a misfire under heavy boost when I load the throttle. Wasn't there before the install. Stage 2 tune before the pipes.

    • @howididit7196
      @howididit7196  11 месяцев назад +1

      The OEM down pipes cross over each other. As you clearly remember from the removal. So with this. You need to cross over now your primary 02s or you'll get some of the errors your getting. There is enough slack to get the driver side 02 and passenger side 02 to reach. You might have to use some heat shielding depending on how you route them but if your aftermarket dps don't cross over you'll need to make sure you cross over the 02s.

    • @howididit7196
      @howididit7196  3 года назад +1

      I was pleased, there was NO drone. The exhaust tone is a bit louder but not enough to make for any issues. The catback is still stock. From my experience, a big chunk of drone can be due to that.

    • @howididit7196
      @howididit7196  3 года назад

      Thank you for the kind words. No sorry, no before and after dyno numbers. The seat of the pants seems to show a nice improvement as the oem pipes are really small. I'll try to get up a video showing the difference side by side. It's very noticeable size wise.

    So did you put the blue taped 02 sensor on the driver side after all? Or kept it on the passenger side?

    • @howididit7196
      @howididit7196  3 года назад

      Hi Champy, I was looking to try and add that info in or edit the video once it's loaded but I don't know how to do that. So yes. The secondary 02s (the back most 02s) still need to be crossed over to the other side. The passenger side rear 02 will reach if you just pull the 02 clip out of the mounting location bracket. That will give you all the slack you need.
      On the driver side you might need to pull the 02 clip out from the mounting bracket (for the rear 02) and pull back some of the electric sheathing that is over the wires. This will allow you the extra room you need to get the sensor wires to help reach their passenger side destination.

So i'm trying to figure out if the sensors are bad or do i need to plug them into the opposite side of which they came from factory. Thanks for all your help. Dope video my man.

    how were you able to route the o2 sensor on the passenger side?

    • @howididit7196
      @howididit7196  Год назад +1

      Both the driver and passenger side 02s work best when you pull them off of the wire loom hold downs and pull back some of the wire loom. There are points where the wire harness is held in place. On each side you'll want to remove the harness from the nearest hold down point to free up more room

    How did you cross the o2 sensors?

    • @howididit7196
      @howididit7196  3 года назад +1

      Thomas, On the driver side. Remove the rear 02 connector from it's holder. From there it should reach. If you still need more room or length. Start to pull back some of the sheathing on the hardness itself. On the passenger side simply pulling the clip out of the holder game me more than enough room... Let me know if that makes sense.
