- It's definitely not easy, but if you are strong over the table, then that's very often more than half the battle. Don't neglect it and get a better short game with this video!

Who do you think was the player at the end of the video?
P.S.: maybe a small addition that it's also bad for getting to your backhand when one foot stands too much in front of the other. It'll be more likely that you touch the ball too much to the side of your body...

Excellent) make more video

So good!!! Make more!!!
Very thoughtful discussion. I had never heard of the small double-step technique until now.
Every video drops so much wisdom! You and Luke (?) are absolutely anazing o really hope you dont slow down anytime soon! But also dont push yourself too hard either, i know these cant be easy to record and script and edit. Much love from america
Merry christmas. your videos are great and i look forward to your videos next week.
Thank you, same to you!
I won't give away the name but his last name is usually a first name for girls in Germany... ;-)

@@OlavKTTTcan you make video about backhands technique lin yun ju, what special in his technique? How he accelerate his arm? His arm movement forward or left side?
thank you!!!
your clip is always very in depth that rarely seen elsewhere, thanks again.
at the end it was TMB right ;-)
I easily receive short if serve dont have much speed, but sometimes opponents serve downspin with speed (maybe it half long serve). How i now Mazunov sad that if ball fast or serve after high toss you must make short receive on pausa, but i didnt understand what it is, sorry for ma english)
hey olav, I have a lot of trouble staying loose when I'm playing. wondering if you have any advice to stay looser
Hmm not a bad idea for a video. Let me just say that you should maybe think about what body part is too tense (wrist, shoulders, legs, forearm,...) and try to find the root cause of the problem. If it's a mental/stress thing, 'jUsT DoN't STrEss BrO', but if it's more of a technique thing then try to fix the technical issues first in practice.
@@OlavKTTT one question, when you serve, do you use forearm or only wrist? What function forearm on serve?
You use both during serve, bot just the wrist, to accelerate and generate speed and/or rotation
I didn't know you spoke dutch!, or I think it is
The fact I just finished a tournament and my biggest problem was this is just too uncanny…
Leg length makes a difference...Short legs 2-step...Long legs 1-step...
I disagree though, because you also see some taller people stepping out with 2 steps and short people with 1.
O.K....I am going with what you're saying I am not a professional player 2000 level...@@OlavKTTT
