Sorry to hear that. To be honest, I can’t even remember his details as it was so long ago now. I’ll try and dig something up. It was from a large Chambers in Lincoln is in. I’ll try and find out, but I didn’t keep all the paperwork.
It could be No 5 Chambers Lincolns in, but I’m not sure if the guy wouldn’t even still be there now. He wasn’t cheap years ago, so I’d expect fees to run into at least a couple of thousand pounds.

Thank you for your question and for being a loyal listener. Your question is reasonable. If you can afford it, then buying a property to live in is always better in the long run and paying rent. However, sometimes people need to rent temporarily depending on the circumstances and budget. It is normally cheaper to have a mortgage to pay rent. In other words, you can get a similar property with a deposit down and pay the same or less in mortgage payments than you would in rent. The problem is that in most areas house prices have gone up much faster than incomes, making them out of reach for ordinary workers. Try and save for a deposit and buy a property as soon as you can.
