Is there like a turn on/ turn off button for the main conector?
The one with the volt display screen,
Like if you want to turn it off do you have to unplug it? So it does not drain the car battery when we are not using the vehicle

I think just unplug it? I just leave it plug tho.

Most cars the cigarette lighter plug doesn't receive power when the car is off. Not all but most I have come across work that way.
