Man this looks like the right choice. My new camera won't give me 1080 out of OBS with my capture card and I know it's not my cheap card cuz it still gives me 1080 when I go right out of RUclips studio. This might be a good alternative

Seems to be OBS with a few different things. Takes a long time to load and it needs a check box to not show the opening dialog box. For the life of me, I can't work out how to create profiles. With OBS I can set a different stream key and have different settings for each profile. There is nothing in help that mentions profiles. There seems to be no shortcut bar for filters and deactivate camera. If they are going to compete with OBS, they need to be better.
i mean, multiple stream are gonna use multiple ressources from our computer? so, it's free but you pay with hardware and electricity consumption 😄 in fact, i just have a gtx 1650 for streaming, and it can barely handle one streaming location at 6250 kbps, especially if you're also recording, which already make 2 simultenous destination sources.
I suggest video editing software like DaVinci Resolve if you want to edit videos. No reason to add in half-baked editing features in live streaming software.
@@ItsOmare_ Resolve is just a video editing software. You need the recorded footage first. Prism is good for live streaming but I don't know if you can record your screen with it to your harddrive, but I'd be surprised if it couldn't. I know you can with OBS, or other recording software.

Question. Why would I need an elgato if I would be streaming from a PC? I'm pretty dumb with technology. I do have an Elgato HD60 and I swear I feel like I wasted my money, because I don't have a clue how to even use it.
You're talking about StreamDeck, right? That's because hotkeys give you more dynamic control over your live stream. However, the PRISM Mobile app can also be a remote control for Windows apps.
The main purpose of the Elgato is to stream gameplay from your console or dual PC setup. If your streaming and playing games off the same computer, you won’t need a capture card technically as you can just do a window capture source @Aries
New to live streaming. Have latest version on win10. The program defies logic to operate. The setup goes as you show, but operationally it is not logical to operate and nothing I do with the program matches what you do. All the youtube videos go so fast that it is impossible to follow. There has to be an easier way to do this.
Yeah definitely leaving OBS now! OBS has been screwing my audio up on my streams. It was perfect at first but lately my audio has been distorted during my live streams.
Fantastic presentation. Is the replay setting the same for Prism as for Shadowplay? Example: For Shadowplay I have it set for 8 minutes. So for Prism I would want 480 seconds? I have the gopro hero 9 camera and the media mod for my external mic. Which external mic is good to record my audio with my gopro the rode videomicro or the deity d4 mini?
In the few months since you published this video, they must have completely overhauled the user interface. I don't see any of these settings options, including the Watermark settings.

This doesn't work for me. The installer downloads, but when I try to run it the administrator pop up opens and when I press yes--nothing. No installer opens. At all.

Yeah you can set it there if you want similar results, give your machine maybe 10 megs of memory, if it performs well you can decrease it.
