  • By age 50, most women have reached menopause: a stage of life marked by changes in the body caused by hormonal shifts. But it doesn't happen overnight. The transitional period is called perimenopause. (May 17, 2023)

I've looked at so many doctor videos on RUclips about pre menopause symptoms not one mentions the debilitating symptoms of dizziness and disorientation and vision problems - I've been keeping track of my cycle for 2 years and I always get them about a week before menstruation. it is so scary to go through it. this is making me feel like I'm going nuts. it is so disappointing that all these medical professionals talk about the generic hot flashes, mood swings, depression. it's 2024, for heaven's sake! you must have more to give to women who are suffering these debilitating symptoms :(((((((

Ok...I didn't even pair the vision problems and peri menopause together! About a week before my cycle I've been having blurred vision and these like flecks in my peripheral vision and when I look to the side they're gone. I can't believe someone commented this. I thought I was going crazy!! Went to an eye doctor and I'm in tip top shape with my vision as well! Thank you for making my anxiety way less now :) I'm 41 and I still feel young but it just feels like my body is falling apart!

Glad perimenopause and menopause discussions are being spoken more openly! It's something every women should keep a pulse on starting in their 30s. I noticed a sudden drop in motivationat age 40 so I've put on weight from stopping exercise completely. Cannot for the life of me get back on the horse, so to speak. I used to work out 5 days a week. Found Dr. Marie Claire Haver recently, been reading and watching her stuff, and started the Galveston diet. Just 1 week into taking anti-inflammatory supplements and a diet change, and I can see aging reverse and feel my mental health improve.

I don't know. She needs to know that she's not going insane and that you aren't going to abandon her. That's sweet to mention she's your best friend. Maybe give her a card saying something to the effect of, "You're my best friend. I believe in you and hope you have a beautiful day!" Don't say ANYTHING like, "I love you even though you are always moody." In fact, I wouldn't even let her know you can tell she's struggling. May the only thing she thinks is, "This man thinks I'm queen of the world and that we are a perfect fit!" Hot flashes

    Lower back ache

    Nausea after eating
Electric shocks in head followed by hot flash
    Night sweats
    Insomnia

I use a menstrual cup that before last month had completely taken away all cramps for years. It was great. Then last month even though I was using it, it was still a bit painful. I had it in yesterday and last night when the cramping woke me up. I got up to go to the bathroom and take some Ibuprofen. I checked it and not a single drop of blood to be seen at all. As bad as the cramps were I expected there to be at least some. Still today no blood but cramping is bad. I am still taking ibuprofen and acetaminophen to help with the constant cramps. 😢

I eat all natural foods at home. Like fresh fruits and vegetables, plain yogurt, plain Greek yogurt, unsalted nuts, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, cilantro, parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme, cardamom, cinnamon, basil, turmeric, chick peas, kidney beans, black beans, black eye peas, tofu, tempeh, edamame, spinach, kale, water, coconut water, herbal teas, etc.. The problem is, when you go out to eat, you won't get all these foods.. You'll get unhealthy food.. So, you've got to be really choosy. I try getting as much sleep as possible. Some days are better than others. Exercise??? Same thing. It depends on my energy levels. You see, I have chronic pain issues. I am a hydrocephalus patient and I also have spasticity in my legs. So, I can't do strenuous exerciseing. Each of us is different.

The most of everything i tryed is Menopearl . Before i found these supplements i even had 2 sessions of laser procedures for vaginal rejuvenation with Fotona Laser , which helps the collagen and hialuronic acid sinteze. I am so lucky that my gynecologist is a very very well trained doctor willing to help and knowledgeable in this so difficult spectrum. I live in Romania , we have many many plants based traditions here and a huge natural shop and that is something that helps me avoid the hormonal substitute which I do not agree with due to so many side effects. Please feel free to ask me anything you need maybe i can help you telling about herbs and natural remedies for your so uncomfortable moments you have now. And anyone who can read me , girls please try Acupuncture!!! That’s working absolutely magical for every single peri symptom! Read about estrogen dominance and histamine intolerance. I’m in early peri and have this. High estrogen causes high histamine and high histamine encourages more estrogen production. A nasty cycle - can cause food intolerances, digestive issues, hives/rashes, allergies, itching, swollen face, migraines etc - the list goes on. Maybe try a low histamine/anti inflammatory diet and see a Naturopath about a DUTCH hormone test. DIM can help detox excess estrogen and you may need progesterone.
