Love Armani Code EDP… Instead of that tonka bean being in the base it’s the mid note and makes all the defensive… Bergamot n Lemon off the top n that tonka sweetness kicks in. That suede n clean musk base with that Bergamot n tonka sweetness drying down. Perfection in my eyes. A true modern update.
I have just started my scent journey but it was great seeing some frags I used growing up on the list. Le Male was the first frag I liked which I stole of my dad and wore it religiously to college. Cool water was the first frag bought for me by a mature woman. 1 million was the frag I bought myself huuuuge compliments when this came out. Armani Code was the first frag my wife got me and became my signature for roughly two years. This year I started to look into more frags and I started with a sample of Layton it became a priority to get but still out my price range. I recently purchased Bleu Electrique from Notino (online store uk) and managed to get a bottle of Rochas Moustache EDP just waiting for it to be delievered. I'll definatly be looking at more Tom Ford frags as I enjoyed the Black Orchid sample I had.
@@SchoolOfScent Thank you I will, been watching you're vid's for a while now and they are very informative it has deffinately helped my realise what type of scents I do like and don't. Keep up the amazing work. Also can't wait to receive my bottle of your line really looking forward to it.
VIDEO IDEA: Creed Aventus is an iconic fragrance and on numerous videos I have heard you reference other fragrances that have ‘Aventus DNA’. Some that come to mind are Hacivat, Elysium, and Cedrat Boise I believe. Could you do a video on all ‘Aventus DNA’ fragrances and rank them based on your favorite interpretations of this classic?
❌JPG Le Male (have not tried but I own Reflection Man and Luna Rossa Sport and the Dreamer... so I have a vague idea of what this should smell like) ✔Bleu De Chanel (owned the EDP, sold it) ❌Hugo Boss Bottled (Own Oud Aromatic... which I know has nothing to do with the original... just bought d and g light blue intese...i live in india..lasts 14 plus hours even after shower, thank you for recommeding me. best fragrance for hot weather.. its like 45 C degree here
Great video. I have all the fragrance in the list and still use them to this day except Dior Homme, I have replaced it with Dior Homme Parfum instead. I am also phasing out Aventus as well as the one I have now which is the 2020 batch isn't that great anymore and I don't feel it is worth the price as compared to the older batches. Probably use Elysium Pour Homme Cologne to replace it which I do have and I think it smells better to my nose and lasts longer. JPG Male Le Parfum or Ultra Male to me is better than the original as well so Le Male is another one I am phasing out. I am keeping both Layton and Boss Bottled eventhough they're in the same scent profile just for old time's sake.
Great video Omar! I tried almost everyone of them and owned about half of your list. Because I downsized my collection big time, I still got one left (AdG, both the Profumo and Profondo). I am thinking about buying Terre D'Hermes. After 25 years I finally found my scent-profile and got rid of all the scents I never reached out for, or just had as status. Please give us a part 2.

Something I hope to see more of on fragrance channels: Give three or four fragrances from each season that have similar smells. So if you have one, you won’t make a redundant purchase. Also, say whether or not purchasing similar is or is not redundant. Sometimes I have one that I like, and would like to have other “similar” smells, while others I may not like and won’t want to purchase something similar.
Bleu de Chanel Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male TF fragrances mentioned YSL La Nuit de L'homme PDM Layton Terre d'Hermes line Aqua di Gio line Creed Aventus Code line except original All I have tried. I agree, icons of perfumery that's for sure. But some of them are reformulated heavily.
i have most: boss bottled intense, adg profondo and profumo, jpg le male, armani code absolu and profumo, ysl la nuit, and prada l'homme and intense. love every fragrance!
You should do more videos on mixing scents, your previous ones had fairly expensive frags and my collection didn't have any of the combos you looked at. One combo I want you to check that isn't too expensive and I enjoy is ck shock and ysly. It'd be cool to see your review of that combo

Hey is it better to get the new Dior Sauvage Elixir or Bleu de Chanel? If the answer is Bleu de Chanel do you recommend the EDP or the EDT (or the Parfum)
My suggestions. Sultani by Arabian Oud. Awfa by Ahmed Al Maghribi and Khaiyyal by Arabian Oud. And for those who love Oud for Greatness type check out Bin Sheikh by Ahmed Al Maghribi. Find time and give them a sniff. With that said I love Tobacco vanille and Dior.
Thank you Ahmad, that’s very kind! I like Kalan, although I appreciate the opening with the strong black pepper and blood orange combination can be challenging, what are your thoughts?
@@SchoolOfScent Honestly it's one that seems to catch others attention in strange but positive ways with the scent trail and when I catch a whiff with a cold breeze it's quite beautiful.. Up close it's not my favorite brother Omar and could be strange like you said, definitely the most niche from the pdm line up at least to my nose. The magic is in the air kinda like Terre de Hermes not in the scent itself but in the structure of how they dazzle and razzle in the open air and my wife seems to really enjoy it as well (bonus*) when I'm out of the house, definitely not a seductive bed time scent.
