    Thanks for this video! I found this blanket on Ravelry and thought it would be fun. Between your original video and this one, I've made sense of the pattern, and it really is a fun project. Thanks again for making things clear.

    I agree with the women who text to start at beginning, also where we can be creative. Thank you for helping us out in this area! Carry on!

    I LOVE the changes!!! I'm still working on the original pattern and will finish it that way, but the next one I do will use these changes. :) I also started another blanket today doing the new 10 Stitch Twist... thanks so much for these fantastic patterns!!!

    I was wondering if I can do the chain cast on so that edge is the same as the other sides that have the slipped edge. The new slipped edge in this revisited video makes it so much easier to see what stitch needs to be picked up on the 11th peg. Thank you so much for this revisited video.

    I really hate to ask but would you be willing to make a video from the beginning like you did your other video. I'm sorry but I'm just not getting it. I liked your first video but with the new tips that you have I would like to see it from the start instead of the way it is now. I've been wanting to make this blanket for ever but I want it to come out nice like the one in this video. Thanks for doing what you do believe me I do appreciate it very much. Again Thanks.

    I'm hoping this question will get answered quickly..........
    I'm a tad confused, I've been following your written instructions and have done great so far. I have completed the double corner and am ready to start along the side of the original 9 garter ridges.
    On Row 1 it states to knit pegs 2-9 and SL peg 10, on your written instructions it states that the Slip Stitch is simply running the yarn behind the peg to be slipped.
    Do we take the loop off the peg, place the yarn behind the peg and place the loop back on, or do we just put the yarn behind the peg???

  • @ginae96

    hi i just started this blanket i done the 9 gater or 16 rows i done the conner 1 and 2 and 1 and 2 pick up the other side then done the conner 1 and 2 once what do i do now to i do other 18 rows please tell me i am now to looming

  • @srristow1
    @srristow1 9 лет назад

    I have question ok once I cast on my stitches of 18 rows or 9 garter stitches can I instead do 18 garter stitches or 36 rows then do my first corner then do my second corner then I put the first stitch from the second corner and just follow the step that show in the video so is it basically following the side garter stitches that are put on peg 11 that make the seam to the end of the square .are we then going to keep making corners to keep doing as in the video above, are you or anyone going to make another video showing how to continue it or how to finish it .I think I have and idea how you make this blanket just not sure

  • @brendakimsey
    @brendakimsey 10 лет назад

    Am i doing something wrong? When i try doing the flat stitch, it doesn't look anything like a garter knit stitch. E-wrap looks much more like garter, but the only tutorial i can find is done by a left hand person, i'm right handed. Its all backwards to me. Anywhere i can find how to do this with e-wrap?

  • @elizabethv_royalsfan
    @elizabethv_royalsfan 10 лет назад

    I don't know the chain cast on...can i ewrap instead? And i echo others who would like to see how to finish it (cast off). Have not started...but want to.

    I agree with Donna, a beginning video would be great. Don't know if you knit the first row on, or did you e-wrap the first row. I have knitted for almost 50 years. I really would like to do a blanket on the loom. I see you are using the red loom, it is worsted weight you are using, correct? Thanks for your awesome tutorial. It would be great to have a starting point for those of us who are novice to the loom.

      Yes, it's worsted weight. She said it was Red Heart Super Saver and it is worsted weight.

    I, like Deborah Gooch would like to do this blanket. However, I am confused. I know you have the original video and then this one. And I know this one covers some changes. So should we watch the original video to start, since in this video you have clearly started and are showing the changes in the corners. All help is greatly appreciated.

      Ok...I read a bit further down and found where the reply had been:
      "To get the blanket started, you just cast on 10 stitches and knit 1 row, then purl 1 row. You repeat that sequence 9 times. Then you are ready to start where the video starts."

    Is this pattern possible for a dyslexic who nearly always seems to revamp patterns with complicated patterns because it confuses me. I have the written pattern by you, and I've watched your videos multiple time. Are there any hints you can give me, I've frogged at least of 15 of these. Any help is appreciated.

    hi I want to make this blanket... but I am confused... you have this already started...do I look at the other video to see how to get to where your at on the revisited pattern.... I guess I just don't understand how to get the whole project started.

    • @simplyknit8783
      @simplyknit8783  10 лет назад +4

      I am sorry about that. Did you look at the pattern page and are still confused? To get the blanket started, you just cast on 10 stitches and knit 1 row, then purl 1 row. You repeat that sequence 9 times. Then you are ready to start where the video starts.

    If you want to learn how to do this 10 stitch blanket I found an excellent video, just go to your youtube browser and type in "10 stitch blanket beginning to end with diagram" by CinDWood Premium Knitting looms. She starts you right at the beginning and goes through the entire blanket to finished product. No, I have nothing to do with that video, I was looking for a 10 stitch blanket video and ran across that one.
