Mate, I was there. Got there Paola Nutini. He was amazing. Kasabian had the crowd absolutely lift. The F***ing In The Bushes kicked in.... the rest was history. Clocked the helicopter coming in too. Absolutely biblical.
I like this video the way it's been put together; even the smaller details like getting into the vehicle :-) We may be taking this a little for granted, but 25 years down the line, this will be a Treasure to revisit.
@@upcomingbandsofficial love the way you came in with Oasis then Stonehenge and a little of the Manchester band ”Pastle” young lads Thanks a nice video
Thanks for posting !! Stuck in the states and seeing Liam brings back a ton of memories from the 90’s … the last great rocker with the swagger like no other
I was at the 2nd night (originally the 1st) It's now 2 days after and I feel like only now am I landing back on planet earth. John Squire sharing the stage at the end was a complete surprise to me and probably the highlight of my life so far. I can't even explain what was going through my head during champagne supernova. First time I've had tears in my eyes for fuckin years man. I walked away with some very special people feeling on top of the world, yet somewhat deflated, with the realisation that the best day of my life was over...
I completely get where you’re coming from here! I’ve not been able to stop thinking about it and wondering how anything can ever top this moment. We just have to remember how lucky we were to be a part of history, and we can remember and talk about it for years to come! Luckily, I’m seeing LG in two weeks time in Portugal at Rock in Rio!
@@upcomingbandsofficial Glad I'm not the only one! Definitely an "I was there" kind of day. Very jealous of that! I'm hoping to get over to Italy to see Paolo Nutini, gutted he played the day before ours!!
Yes I’ve been quite deflated ever since Saturday. Wishing I can do it all over again. Best day of my life spent with family I adore. Just can’t beat it.
it was the top of the world indeed mate. Longed for a long time to have been in such a special historical event as 1996 Knebworth, Maine Road, etc... and somehow I was there now in 2022! living in Italy and coming to UK just for this. I'm so glad you experienced all these feelings and sensations man, keep it mad. Ps: the fact that it was expected rain during the whole Saturday and at the end not a single drop came down just made it more magical!
I went on Saturday and it was incredible. Went to the Saturday for Oasis at Knebworth in 96 as a young lad but honestly this was at least on par. Don’t get better than this really so just appreciate it you were there and keep supporting the bands you love. These are the special moments and hard to replicate.
100%, I know you said you went second night, but crowd was class, not sure where people were to think it was bad, could’ve potentially been louder but was far from bad or even average. Atmosphere was electric!
Mate second night attendance consisted of the original mad people who made the instant sold-out, after this the second night (which was actually the first, friday) was "created" so I think it makes sense the people on the second night was madder fer it. I'm so glad I was there! Lovely atmosphere
Good video, sad to see so many phones at a gig these days, it just steels that essence. That's was great back in the day when you went to a class gig like that and then had to wait for the release of any footage. To relive it...that said without a phone I wouldn't be commenting on your video so, swings and roundabouts hey.
Good to see the new generation of Liam/Noel/oasis fans coming through instead of the 90s children. Great video too! I went to Ethihad. It was biblical!
@@matthewjdouglas6471 sorry agree with Wes dimes.Nothing like 96.yes those times have been and gone but the 90’s was their prime and as much as I appreciate all their newer fans love them it will never be the same as it was back then whatever people say.But yes by all means enjoy the here and now!Oasis was the 90s not just Liam or just Noel the band was outstanding and their gigs were out of this world.Shame the newer fans can’t relive the actual gigs but still cool they enjoy the songs/ gigs as they find them now x
Like many people the appeal of Liam has always gone straight over my head - however - as the comments below prove that three decades on he still has the power to touch peoples hearts, inspire loyalty and devotion and for that I applaud him.
I was there on night 2. Your experience was the same as mine in the fact that Liam Gallagher at Knebworth was the BEST GIG EVER! Liam isn't Godlike...LIAM IS GOD! Thank you for sharing your biblical footage. You are the bollocks! Nice one! ❤❤❤
