It helps that the band has improved in the last couple of years. It actually sounds like Oasis playing again instead of the early days when the instruments sounded god awful. Bonehead being back is a huge help.
Yeah. The guitars early on had more of a fuzz sound than a britpop distortion. Sounds loads better now.
Bonehead is a vital part of oasis, 2 hours of bar chords non stop
I never thought he’d ever get anywhere near as good as he sounds again. IOW in particular is one of his best ever gigs vocally.
He sounded absolutely mega in person, brilliant performance, still can't register that I was there and saw him haha

I am 60. Look at this crowd young and know every word from songs 30 years ago. Oasis never worked the US long enough. But if they had would be hard to argue them as a top 10 of all time. I have them in my top five with some great others. They should be in Hall of Fame like NOW.
Oasis were popular here in the US in the Midwest of all places. I'd second row tickets to see them on the Brotherly Love tour in 2001 but our Pittsburgh date was cancelled due to needing to reroute after The Riverbend in Cincinnati was flooded. I was so upset! I was also a massive Black Crowes fan, but I got to see them multiple times over the years. I never got to see Oasis nor have I seen Liam or Noel.
The disastrous methamphetamine gig, Noel leaving, coming back, the MTV Unplugged fiasco, cancelling shows in the US, etc... They just couldn't get out of their own way sometimes.
I'll wave the Oasis and Gallagher Brothers flag until my final days. They created music for not just my generation as a teenager in the 90s but for everyone. Mega. Biblical.
Cigs and alcohol is insane! The crowd goes mental as soon as it starts! They're even singing along to the riff! That gives me hope

Wow the crowd almost looked as good as they did back in the day start of rock n roll star! It’s kinda emotional and inspirational seeing Liam doing this with Noels songs of course! But the crowd is young and getting into Oasis will mean they’ll get into all the bands Oasis talked about Beatles, stones, roses, Dylan and end up forming bands so Liam Gallagher is saving rock n roll!!!

makes me so happy to see Bonehaed playing with Liam again. Does anyone agree that he should have used his name as soon as oasis split? i dont think beady eye would have headlined gigs this size, even with the same musicians, but Liam Gallagher does.

I give him props for trying to do a thing as a band and keep his boys in the game, but make it all about him. But yes, Liam Gallagher is a major draw. It would have been a weird transition to go from oasis then keeping the same band minus Noel and calling it just Liam
@@rktyler3470 He should have just carried on as Oasis it was his band in the first instance, Gem and Andy left so he could of got Bonehead back in. Beady Eye just the wrong name for Oasis IMO

I'm a long time Oasis fan that just didn't keep up with all the Solo stuff post breakup. I can say with certainty that this particular band, with those songs, with Liam is the perfect way to experience Noel's songs.

Of course it needs Noel for it to be proper after all the songs are from his soul sent over to Liam to sing them with all the defiance and anger and hope that Noel felt but couldn’t release. And Noels guitar playing is better then this fella and backing vocals and then can get rid of the backing singers

I honestly don’t think he sounds good on the classic DM songs like supersonic, RnR and cigs and alc, he just sounds like his struggling to sing in pitch and with rhythm, but in acquiesce still and hello for example, he can keep that rhythm and pace that he use to, I think his voice has outgrown those earlier tracks now and it sucks

53 years old. Was at original Kneb show 1996 and was at the 2022 show. I still am coming to terms with the fact that he actually sounds better now. He looks better too. He’s happy to be performing. Not like back in the 90’s where drugs and alcohol were his bride. Now the music is once again, like it was at the start. I predict a reunion within the next 5 years. Just wait. It’s coming.😂

It was great at Trnsmt. It was hard to jump up and down where I was right at the barrier in the second tier cos it was so packed, you had folk jumping on top of you! Loved it. Liam was immense.
