Thanks man, I've had great luck with my 3s/4s/6s Arrma's but i'm looking to give Traxxas another try by getting a Maxx. Seems like the best they offer and the price isn't too bad considering where the Sledge is at. Nothing else they sell really interests me in what I do, jumping them 20+ ft.
Im in a love/hate relationship with this RC hobby. Why do we have to pay almost $600 for it and then spend another $500 in upgrades. For me that is a lot of money
That's the fun part in this hobby, making it your own to your taste I'm mostly into tanks with a few trucks and crawlers and let me tell I don't know how much money I've spent in this hobby
@@IsmaelBaldrichu know I’ve came to that conclusion I used to buy ready to runs then tear it all down and make it my own I say a lot sometimes I have more fun building em then running em and have decided here on out I’m doing rollers
you need the cradle that will fit a regular size servo. I have this one www.vitavon-racing.com/product/vitavon-cnc-adapter-for-standard-size-servoservo-hornlink-for-maxx1-10/
@@RCPropaganda there is a hole u r right so i have to drill just another one n then i can use the plate. I got the same hobbywing combo so u helped me a lot. Tnx man!!!
The reefs raw 500 is a good servo but people need to stop recommending it. It's a relatively outdated servo compared what's available now for cheaper price.
@@RCPropaganda Perfect Pass Monster, AGFRC 55KG, AGFRC 36KG, PowerHobby 729, Betu 45kg to name a few that I prefer to the RAW 500. I even tried a cheap DSSERVO 25kg and 35kg and they performed better than stock and pretty close to the Reefs in speed. I ended up using the Perfect Pass in my Maxx, it's faster and stronger than the Reefs for 10$ less.
I found the sledge shocks in the back from gpm make it handle alot better and I top mouted the race and run a 1730 kv 4092 motor and all treal hubs and vitavon hun extensions and I run arrma backflip LPs found they can take the 6s power better then the badlands I've killed 3 motors in the 4274 size reason I run big cans now
@@RCPropaganda I run the same esc you have I use to run a hobbywing Max 6 but found the castle gives more punch and being able to go from reverse to full throttle is handy and go lower kv and long can it'll give you more run time and less heat issues more torque to so can gear up and run 6s then just for fun hear and there is a beast on 4s insane on 6s with out a wheelie bar standing backflips are easy
yeah not sure I want to go 6s. I enjoy it on the 4s. Just want a bigger motor. I have a short course small motor on there. Soon when I get funds will upgrade the motor.
How does no one in the rc hobby own a air compressor. People talk about burning esc and motor up but don't take care of their truck because it a basher.....
I had a compressor but never could use it because I lived in an apartment. I am so happy to have a place were its hooked up now. My fav thing to do is clean them when I get back from a dirty bash then blow them dry.
I have an eco boost in mine and love it. My stock esc is starting to cut in and out.

I’d say steering servo , aluminum c hubs , esc , tires , and hubs .

To upgrade your rc its probably the funniest part!!!!!
The ones that been in the hobby long enough don’t buy ready to run… we buy new rollers and then make it your own .

Hej cool video diid you not have problems steering the wheels hitting the arms since those backflip tires have different ofset ??
no
@@RCPropaganda thnx for answer so quick ❤
Great video. Did you have to make any changes to your gearing with those LP Backflip Arrma tires? Thanks in advance.
No
If I get a off brand servo, do I need an adapter for the Max V2?

Hi How did u fix the ESC to the car!? Did you use the kit biadhesive inside the box?
I used the plate the hobbywing esc comes with. Had to drill a hole, though. Then, I also added a zip tie for extra securement.
@@RCPropaganda so u had to drill 2 holes to fix the plate right?
Think I used one hole that was already there. It has been awhile so I forget.
@@RCPropaganda there is a hole u r right so i have to drill just another one n then i can use the plate.
I got the same hobbywing combo so u helped me a lot. Tnx man!!!
yeah. just put the one screw in the it will be lined up were you need to drill the other hole. Happy bashing. Thanks for watching.
Macgyvered that thing hard 😆✌️
