Introducing the TOTS Study

CliniKids researchers are seeking families to take part in the Tuning in to Toddlers program. We are conducting this study to investigate if the program helps families understand how to support and manage their child's emotion development and regulating emotions.
Parents and primary caregivers of young children aged 18-48 months diagnosed with autism (or awaiting confirmation of a diagnosis), experiencing some difficulties with emotions are invited to take part, living anywhere in Australia.
Participating in this study involves:
• Completing an eligibility screen with our research team
• Completing some online questionnaires before and after the program
• Attending 8 weekly one-hour sessions with a therapist in clinic (Subiaco or Joondalup, WA) or via telehealth
• Completing a feedback interview at the end of the program
