- The California Department of Transportation is issuing an emergency response to permanently clear homeless encampments under state-owned property.
Why is it they can't spend some of the billions of dollars allocated for homeless to build mental hospitals for the homeless that are mentally ill?
I’ve asked the homeless advocate if he would take some homeless into his home and he told me no. He’s afraid they might steal something or burn his house down.
That's funny.
Wow, look at an unrealistic expectation getting fulfilled! And yet look at you, sitting there, doing what? Not much I bet!
Umm, yeah funny but truth is most anyone wouldn't invite anyone into their own homes.
sure
@@dognbundad. He’s doing as much as : Me, YT commenters, 98.9% of average California citizens, our illustrious Dictator Newsom ( who is supposedly responsible for leading the reduction of the homeless problems) , and lastly, the highly paid homeless advocacy groups , which is basically not much to NOTHING. What are YOU doing ? 🥱👆🏽.
In other news, car window smash robbery has increased by 200%.
Hey Gruesome we’re 15 years into your 10 year plan to take care of the homeless situation and what do we have TWICE AS MANY HOMELESS
$25 billion unaccounted meant for homelessness in California under Newscums leadership
Punk is right, nothing but. Like Newsome can really prevent people from moving into CA? It's a free country but I forgot you are against that.
I guess this fact just flew over everyone’s head. 4.5 million dollars a year for “homeless encampment coordinators” for 30 positions is roughly 150k salary for each of them. This is the homeless industrial complex ….
A lie you tell.
They will come right back. They will just use cardboard, pallets and other scavenged stuff to put under their tents. Hostile landscaping does nothing to solve the problem.
Then why are you complaining about it?
@@DemPilafian Probably because it's a huge waste of money that could be better spent to solve the problem you're whining about yourself?
@@mnn1265 Those rocks aren't made of gold. Rocks are cheap. The solution is great. I'm *HAPPY* with it. 😃
@@DemPilafian Not too bright either? Those are city workers making bank. You just don't understand the basics of the universe.
@@mnn1265 Are you talking about the city workers delivering services for the homeless? I agree -- the workers in the homeless industrial complex are making bank!
🤣💰🤣
Okay but think about the consequences:
Someone with no trace of humanity left; taking said rocks, throwing them at vehicles, and causing chaos.
Most of them came from other states looking for a free ride and drugs .
Homeless advocates just love to talk without any solutions!!! Let’s see how they feel if the homeless were living in front of their house!
That evil attorney didn't care at all that local business owners were having their livelihood destroyed. That attorney is the apex of selfish immoral virtue signaling.
What's your solution? How ironic you did exactly what you accuse them of!
If you allow the homeless to fester you get a homeless expansive disease! You should spend exact money on single room apartment buildings for single people with shared facilities!
They’re going throw those rocks at passing cars
That needs to be done everywhere if the city or state will not protect us.
James, really are you that naive? As mentioned in the clip the homeless will just go somewhere else and that just might be to your neighborhood. Pushing homeless around actually just makes the problem worse. Just a short while ago a referendum passed with a lot of funding to address the issue, it should improve the situation but honestly the problem is a lack of housing. Why are so many people without a house? Because there are not enough houses. They cost too much because pretty much nobody will support the building of housing for low income workers and people with mental health problems and with substance abuse habits. We can cry about homeless all we want but if we don't offer a solution then it's not going to stop. Too bad our government is locked in ideological warfare over women's reproductive rights and we are unable to fix problems, like homelessness. It's a national problem because homeless can move across state lines - I just met a couple two days ago that came to CA from Utah because they became jobless/homeless and left looking for more opportunity.
There aren't enough rocks in the state to cover all the homeless camping spots under our freeways. And if all those camping spots were made uninhabitable with rocks, where would the campers go? Neighboring streets and parking lots, that's where.
By their own numbers it's $150,000 per homeless encampment to clean up 30 encampments.
first they need a place to go - before you "Clear" them..
This still doesn’t help homeless
This really looks like another dumb solution. Homeless people are going to end up throwing those rocks at passing cars. What could possibly go wrong?😂
Way business closing bankruptcy be more homeless people
Not going to work.
They put wood floors on the sidewalk, why wouldn't they put them on rocks. They just need to enforce the laws.
You think the homeless can't find a few boards of plywood, maybe use a few jagged rocks to level?
They can literally just turn around, hop the border and then get a free ride trip to the American dream
You could close the border..
Different ridiculous topic
How is that going to help? These are not immigrant homeless, they are American homeless. They all speak English. Are you a Trump MAGA person?
Then complain to your fed rep in DC
Lol what? Most homeless people I see are white. People from "south of the border" seem to be homeless less often, I think due to their more communal styles of living. They support each other more and care less about "independence" while trying to better their lives and the lives of their families.
@@dfirth224 your brain dead. You think all those people pouring into San Diego from all over the world have homes? Your state is hundreds of billions in debt but you see no problem in a mass influx of nothing but need. This is common sense fool and no, I have never voted for Trump but slow joe couldn't be doing a worse job so I might vote for him this time.
Caltrans can do it, but you can't. Double standards
Just make a rock house
Election season is upon us. Time for the functionaires to help The Party.
That won't stop them.
and your solution is?
Believe me all it takes is a bank failure. A predatory loan. This problem didn’t start today. I wish people would see through the rhetoric and what the media AKA the government is feeding the masses. Follow the money.
@nicholasthompson7690 send them to the white house
I bet you some homeless advocate group will call it hostile architecture. Ask that homeless advocate to house some at his residence.
i swear if they start throwing rocks....
Great idea
Creative solution
YES! clean it up!!!!!!! OMG!
Love it! Continue on! Nimbyism…the progressives love that word. Rock on!
Now DONT LET THEM BACK
All they got to do is
Get a piece of plywood
Alot of rocks alot of money .......no homes
Good 👍
Its about time 👍
How many years have been doing that? Have you done housing them?
They also dig into the banks of the levees which could result in a breach someday and flood the city.
Looks great!
I love it!! Keep voting Democrat!!
What does this have to do with the democrats?
Yea building matrials! Where is all our tax money used for the past decade to solve the homless problem Noosehim?
I approve! 😁
Adding door and ignition locks to cars is just a way to exclude thieves from reaping the benefits of stealing cars. Car manufactures are evil and disrespecting the legal rights of repressed car thieves. *Boycott car manufactures now!*
_-- Attorney Mark Merlin_
I support the State in this effort.
The homeless got nothing to do they will move it and make it look good.
Don't be stupid
If the state of California can do this, why can't the city of Chico, Redding, or any other City get rid of these f****** off of city property?
CalTran director for governor! If advocates are so worried then make liberals invite the homeless into their homes!
Trump 2024
Trump for King.
He never drained the swamp. We gave him and Biden a shot and they didn't help.
I remember homelessness exploded under trump

I need some of those rocks near my place!
See how fast they work when state owned
