Yeah I mean they're allowed to have different taste but imo as far as technical stuff goes it's not particularly great... i.e. the colors are off especially the shade of blue, the shading of the skin implies realism however the black lines make it cartoony so they clash, it's also lacking in contrast to make it look like its under the skin, to little shading in the white areas that could use more gray, ripped skin could be more loose and flowing to add to realism, the artist seems to get lost around the edges where that tan color could be more decisive. Idk thats just what sticks out to me as a tattoo artist if they are happy with it then good for them.🤷♂

Texas flag tat was sick as shit. Looked well done and I digged the way it looked. They had no reason not to like it besides it being a Texas flag?
Yeah I mean they're allowed to have different taste but imo as far as technical stuff goes it's not particularly great... i.e. the colors are off especially the shade of blue, the shading of the skin implies realism however the black lines make it cartoony so they clash, it's also lacking in contrast to make it look like its under the skin, to little shading in the white areas that could use more gray, ripped skin could be more loose and flowing to add to realism, the artist seems to get lost around the edges where that tan color could be more decisive. Idk thats just what sticks out to me as a tattoo artist if they are happy with it then good for them.🤷♂
Flag tattoos are kinda a doosh tat, and skin rips are allot like flame sleeves. The wearer is probably exhausting
It really isn’t well done though. They also said flag/ripped skin tatts in general too
To each their own but if we're talking about purely technical merit here, no way was that tattoo well done. And they all hated it before they even knew it was the Texas flag, so I'm not sure what you're jumping at here.
That fupa though.
If that flag was Puerto Rican they'd all love it FOH with the hate
