Well this is just to amazing for me. Having synced audio from sources working well with characters mouth and expressions is just so really cool. And it opens up so many ways to find voice tracks for your characters. Endless possibilities. Thank You! :)
@@SolomonJagwe Is there some setting in Daz you have to enable to get it to play back the animation using the GPU ? I have a PC with an i-9 processor, 64 GB ram and RTX 2080 but I'm not able to get the animation to play back that smoothly. It skips many frames in filament mode to the point it's laggy and though it plays ok in texture shaded view it's still not as smooth as what you are getting.
@@artbywaqas I am using a dual gpu setup, which makes a big difference. It also depends on how heavy the scene is. You also may need to lower the subdivision level for your character.
Thanks for sharing. I didnt understand why you padded/set the audio file to start at frame 5, since the animation that was created from the same source started at frame 0. In fact, during the playback the audio appeared slightly late (as expected since it didnt start in frame 0 to match animation). Were you simply showing the possibility and not implying it was necessary?
thank you. I was demonstrating how to offset the audio to better sync up with the animation, by default when you first bring it in, it is slightly off. You can fine-tune it some more beyond the 5 frame padding.
Thank you for your efforts, but this is a very archaic way to bring audio into an application of sorts. They could get some inspiration from Iclone, years ago. They seem very stubborn when it comes to implementing industry standard features like a simple camera switcher, for example. All my hope now rests on Daz to Blender Bridge.
Hi Solomon, love your videos. Can you tell me which one would be a better product for lipsync - facemotion or facemojo? I can only afford to buy one of them!
Character Creation - DAZ. You have great bases to use. Iclone models are still kind of ugly. I haven't seen any good looking models. I don't know what it is but something that looks like old game graphics. Daz has some pretty models and you can update them well with morphs and such. Animation I hear Iclone is way better but I hate them so will not be using their dime and dollar software.
@@SolomonJagwe Dear Solomon, I have watched it :) I am subscribed to you so I have been watching your videos. But I still am facing problems bringing Daz characters to Blender. I can bring in base pose with face animations okay, but when I mix body animations, I just can't get the limbs - to come in right. The arms are always twisted :(
Just one question Salomon. If I make a short movie animation in Daz Studio and want to make a sequence render, is there a way to export the audio apart only. If not, what should be done in this case?
usually I record the audio as a different take, while doing the facial animation, then line up the audio with the rendered final frames inside of Adobe Premiere.
These face animations with Face Mojo are absolutely not suitable for animating a human's face. All animation is too stiff. The human face is not made of plaster. At most it can be used with puppets or cartoons. This is correct animation of the human face: ruclips.net/video/7kBrQDvhZXg/видео.html It's always best to learn from the best. Best regards

This was helpful and well done. Love to see you making adjusting the face during playback.
Awesome, thank you!
Thank you so much for this Video and for you encourage us always to never give up our dreams !!!!
Hi... Its me 3yrs ago.. does daz have camera motion capture for free.. or its a plugin
I am really enjoying your videos. I could not find the character in daz store, are you using Iclone characters? They are rather unusual in your videos
Thank you so much :) It was a combination of several characters

@@SolomonJagwe Oh, I see. Thanks for the explanation.
Hello Solomon, have you already try to retarget facemotion for GEN 9 ? is it a solution ?

Personally I used Facemotion.
which one is better for character creation and animation? Daz or Iclone ?
Currently, iClone is still better for animation. Daz is improving. If you need to create custom characters, Character Creator would be a good choice

Dear Solomon, Happy 2021. Thx for your tutorials :) Will you do an extension of this video to show the workflow export process to blender?
Happy new year to you too :) check out this video: ruclips.net/video/N0NnyZQGMUM/видео.html

Does FaceMotion work on Mac?
Hello may i ask the requirements for the phone? This can use iphone only rite?? Which iphone should work?
You need an iPhone X, or newer with a depth sensing camera.
