True, Apple might avoid that similarity to keep their identity strong. But if they did, maybe it could lead to even better competition in mobile cameras? They are long overdue for a design change, especially the front facing camera.
@@ostenako yes i agree, but i feel like when add a feature (that was available in android ) apple does it in a way more polished way than any android has ever done it, maybe apple is beter off working by itself ig
Personally as someone who went from an 11 to the 16 recently all I really care about is the posible 5G chip, faster charging that’s stable & lasts, and to keep costs after taxes under $1,000 as much as possible. Economically many of us keep our phones for 3-5 years typically cause paying for a new phone every 1-2 years isn’t realistic in the long run. Had my 11 for 4 1/2 years and it served a purpose for my simple needs. In fact the person I sold my 11 to was holding on to her 8 plus for dear life lol. All that to say … many of us don’t require too much from a phone period. Apple needs to stop coming out with newer models every 12/18 months. It’s exhausting for their long term consumers who are loyal to IOS. Maybe I’m wrong though.
First off, mad respect for rocking the 11 for 4 ½ years-you and your 11 deserve a retirement party. 😂 I’ve got a 12 Pro, and the battery needs a replacement, but I can't lie I'm looking at other companies, cause i feel I could use a little more excitement. And yeah- a stable 5G chip and faster charging would be nice. I wouldn't be surprised if for the iphone 17 air Apple’s like, ‘What if... Dynamic Island but slightly bigger?’ Meanwhile, every other phone company is out here with foldables, flip phones, and phones that probably make you breakfast. It’s about time Apple spices it up with more form factors, or at least gives us loyal IOS fans a little breather. Let’s see, fewer models, more meaningful updates. 🤔
@@ostenako and people are going crazy over a thinner phone with worse camera and battery. honestly iphones were better before 2020, and android upto 2023. ever since that all we get is stupid boxy phones with uncomfortable and cheap feeling flat sides.
That would be smart, to scale it back a bit...like game consoles, and just wait until they actually have better features. Cause nothing's changed except the ios software since iphone x lol
i don't think apple will go for that camera design, if so google will benefit the most because it looks similar to the pixel

Thinner phone!!!! that's what everyone wants!! thinner phone with a single camera and worse battery! so innovative.
what's the point of a thinner phone? they're just cutting costs
they've been cutting cost since 2017 😂

I predict there will be no iPhone 17.
Instead it will be 18 or 20.
(Also not iPhone 19)
Mark my words.

no one asked for a thinner phone
