Loving keith's quirky comments, keep them coming 🤣. Would be good to show a pop up product image when you are talking about products, for example the levelling ramps would of benefited from this and less explanation required! Appreciate it's more work on the edit but you must be able to justify these levels of presentation with the amount of followers you have? Keep up the great Podcast and thanks for your channel.

Hi Matt, Great channel and loved all of your talks at the 3 counties showground!
I have an insurance question if thats ok?
We travel around Europe in our M' home but our travel/medical insurance only allows 50 day per trip!
I have tried to find the answer but no luck. How do the full timers get insured for the amount of time that they travel?
    Hope you can help.
    Thank you.
    Andy

Thanks for the kind words of encouragement. I imagine not all are insured! I would shop around for more extensive cover. I’ve no doubt members of travel groups on FB and similar would be able to advise.

Hi Matt, must confess I fast forwarded a lot of the tracker detail, great topic but personally a little long winded.
As for council run park ups in general, it would appear more and more councils are withdrawing facilities due to misuse by a few. Maybe it’s time for some sort of motorhomer’s touring association that imparts responsible behaviour through ongoing forums as part of it’s membership. It could also provide a source of information to Councils for what we would like from them (Elsan point etc) and vice versa. An understanding of those living on four wheels through necessity could benefit from dialogue between tourers and councils too.
    All the best. Phil.

Trackers are a bit long winded to understand but I wanted to ensure we presented all the detail. Campra campaign for real Aires is a great Facebook group to join. How do you police and manage the minority that will always find ways to break protocol?
      Thanks for watching and commenting

Think councils will eventually start installing cctv and impose £100 fines, which in turn will pay for itself and the clean up in the long run 🤷‍♂️
      That's my take anyway !
Sam near Cannock Chase where we are struggling to catch the culprits . . .

Scotland are going to introduce £20/day Touring tax, even the “go to” tourism journalist Simon Calder thinks it’s a good idea. Publicity is clearly not in our favour.
If Motorhome insurers insisted on proof of an annual habitation inspections, and a well established group, like Campra, where to administer a register of enlightened tourers, then maybe it would go along way to backup Campra’s campaign highlighting the benefits tourers bring to an area. Obviously a fee would be required, but even £150/yr would be a small price to pay compared to £20/dy which no doubt England and Wales authorities will be keen to follow Scotland with.
      Phil.

Any can be adapted to do this with a relay. We use Global Telemetrics and GPSBob on our hire fleet

Do you think Pay-Per-Mile will destroy motorhoming if it is applied to Petrol and Diesel vehicles rather than just Evs ?

    • @MotorhomeMatt
      @MotorhomeMatt  4 месяца назад

Highly unlikely due to the low mileage travelled by most motorhomes
