Your reaction is the same as a lot of people jumping on a Gixxer--- you see the negative reviews and the associations with squids.... but actually trying it out and it's like wow what a great bike... everything just works. Smooth AF. The sound of the screaming Suzuki I4 engine is the sound that society thinks of when it thinks of sport bikes. ;)
@@uncoiledfish2561 Newer ones have been a lot better than the mid 2000s. I have not had many come through the shop with running or electrical issues so 2011 and up pretty good 👍
I have a 2015 with over 60k miles.. This is my favorite bike so far. I like this one much better than my old 2007 R1 that dropped its intake valves on number 4 at 52k miles. I love the light weight and usuable power for the street. The 600 super sport is my favorite class of bike. I did have the stator crap out on me. Apparently, this is a common issue even on the current gen--it was pretty cooked. This is the first bike I've had in which the stator failed, but this is preferable to a piston smashing into some valves 🤪 There's an aftermarket one that's supposed to be better than stock, but i didn't figure that out until after a replaced it. The only other difference I've experienced is that the valve clearances move a lot, so it's important to check them regularly. I'm glad this bike is getting some luv👍
The technology trickling down from the 1ks to the 600s has evened the playing field. A lot the choice comes down to ergonomics & preference really imo. I had an R6 for a year & sold it for more than I got it for. I kind of regret it. But I bought a house! Came back to bikes but I got more of a commuter. ‘23 ninja 650. Still loads of fun. Jus ordered a Yoshi & a filter. Might get a tune next year. 🎉
I've said it before and ill stand by it.. everyone shits on gsxr's (whether for the meme or just cause its the ugly duckling the bunch. But once they sit on one/ride one people either fall in love with them or can at least garner a little bit of "respect" for them. Great bikes, love them :)
I have the same bike same color.. at first I wasn't much of a fan of the color but it does grow on you lol.. Ride safe bro 🤙and oh yeah the gsxr600 top end pull is decent!
Like the part at the beginning " the new Gixxer is cool." Lol yeah I got a 2014 that I picked up in 2016 which was the same bike just different color and I haven't seen anything that resembles an update yet, I mean just buy any gsxr from 2011 to now and swap the graphics to whatever year you want it to be and you got a new bike for 750.00 of plastic. Yes I love my 2014 even more having saved thousands over new 4000.00 saved at the time actually ( that's alot of insurance, gas, riding gear, speeding tickets, and hot wings at the pub.) Kinda like the white and silver from 2015... Hmmm 750.00 new year bike..... Maybe, might have to get some hot wings and beer and think about if I really care. Lol but enjoy the full price 12grand MSRP blue Gixxer. Will agree though fun regardless of the year.
Great bikes, but I just couldn’t imagine paying $11,200 for a new 2023 Gsxr 600 & it’s the same unchanged bike from back in 2011… for goodness sakes they don’t even come with a quick shifter…Suzuki’s just gotta get their shit together…There’s more to making a bike than just changing the color’s of it..C’mon Suzuki.😒 ((Great video tho bro!!)) #StaySafe🙏🏽
@@akcycles Also true, lol I mean Yamaha kept the same R6 from 2006 to 2016.😂 but at the same time, Honda had good bikes from 03-06 then had the best years of power to weight ration in 07-08, then went COMPLETELY down hill from 09 until this very day LOL..Just over weight & choked up with emissions..I own an 07 Cbr 600rr & a 2014 636, but I definitely wouldn’t mind a new 636. The new color ways look great!!

💯 agree on the color scheme. They can switch colors out but that template is the best!!!!
1000% agree that should be the flagship color scheme
The new color schemes are fire …
Agreed!

The new Ninja 650s are nice! Congrats! They sound really good with the Yoshi pipes not super loud but enough to grab peoples attention.
I got the same bike with same livery, blue, best bike Ive ever had and ridden from the 600 class.
Great review and congratulations!🏁
Sick demo, thanks for the opinions too
What year bike is this 2022?

Right that blue with the high viz grows on you! I think if they do not make more in this color it can be a collectable color in the future.
i didnt know you where in the dmv !
Lol Stop by 🤘

What quick shifter does it have?
I don't remember but translogic makes the best ones in my opinion
Whats the difference between the 600 and the 600z? Anyone?
600z has the Ecstar paint livery

Good thing about no updates is they kept their power while newer updated bikes get neutered

Bro…. I’m sorry….. but…. Color scheme? BLOWS. The single giant headlight? Terrible. I’ll take my 22 cbr600rr alllllll day
Wow it be like that!? 😂 Glad someone still likes CBRs. We couldn't give that gen CBR away to people in 2013 🤭
