The fact Flareon was a beefy physical attacker on a *_special attacker_* type up until Gen 4 already spelt immediate worthlessness to the community, and even with the Physical/Special Split of Gen 4, it really didn't help Flareon's case, especially since Fire Fang was it's ONLY strongest physical fire move up until 6. Hell, in Gen 3, Shadow Ball was physical, which made it a better coverage option for Flareon than Bite since Dark was Special back then. Now Shadow Ball is Special, meaning for coverage choices, you gotta stick with Bite to max your use of that beefy 130 Atk. Really is no saving this poor floof...

A not unworkable 110 Special Defense that makes it harder to stop and a total Immunity to Burn that would shut it down for Physical Assault. Along with enough of a move pool to not be completely reliant on spamming Flare Blitz and taking itself out purely by recoil. Bum rushing people with Flare Blitz isn't all it has to work with.

Vaporeon: Vaporeon for can learn the moves blizzard(does 110 damage and Ice Beam ( Does 90 damage) which handles grass types and Dig( Does 80 Damage) Against Electric Types 2. Espeon: As you listed replacing the move shadow ball with bite would mean all but bite (which does 60 damage) doing 80 damage but if you don’t replace shadow ball all do 80 damage 3. Jolteon: yes it only has 1 Weakness which is ground which is great for if you want to not use so many counter moves but the 1 Grass type move Jolteon Learns is Trail blaze which only does 50 Damage

Colosseum Espeon and Umbreon trying to convince XD Eevee who he should evolve into. It explains why these two brothers like to argue. I always saw Espeon as the older one.
Highest highs for these two, espeon caused the baton pass ban due to magic bounce+CM+BP+stored power. That said, without the baton pass strat, umbreon has been way more consistent as a bulky lower-tier wall. The best overall performing eeveelutions though are vaporeon and sylveon. Vap was one of the best bulky waters due to wish up through Gen 5, and sylveon has been consistently UU it RU since it’s introduction which is much better than most eeveelutions, which in general need at least another +10-20 to every base stat to keep up with current power creep.

Ok but hear me out: Base 130 HP, base 110 Sp.Atk. A great mono type, with great abilities, solid coverage in only 2 or 3 moves, and a good number of useful status moves.
It was in the space world demo of gold version. There's a reference to the lost poison type in the dex entries. Also Kanto was reduced to one city in the demo
Obviously espeon, it psychic! If its anime like or real life version of Pokémon, you can do so much things with your psychic power, for example, psychic is the only Pokémons which can talk to humans directly by using telepathy, you can try to learn teleportation, you can use telekinesis to do so much stuff other Pokémons can only dream of, for example, you can use all humans devices with it freely and so much more. No matter, wild life or life with a human, psychic Pokémon is always special. More over, for most trainers it is very not easy to obtain their first psychic Pokémon, which makes espeon even more valuable ( not the protagonist of the games, i mean all other trainers.).

Ok but hear me out: Base 130 HP, base 110 Sp.Atk. A great mono type, with great abilities, solid coverage in only 2 or 3 moves, and a good number of useful status moves.

Obviously espeon, it psychic! If its anime like or real life version of Pokémon, you can do so much things with your psychic power, for example, psychic is the only Pokémons which can talk to humans directly by using telepathy, you can try to learn teleportation, you can use telekinesis to do so much stuff other Pokémons can only dream of, for example, you can use all humans devices with it freely and so much more. No matter, wild life or life with a human, psychic Pokémon is always special. More over, for most trainers it is very not easy to obtain their first psychic Pokémon, which makes espeon even more valuable ( not the protagonist of the games, i mean all other trainers.).
