Aljo is 2 split decisions away from being 25-1. In the 5 fight win streak before his 1st title fight vs Yan he arguably didn’t lose a round. If Aljo beats Cejudo he will have the most wins 135 title defenses & most 135 wins in UFC history

@@JREGreatestHits I think Izzy wasnt angry enoough or in warrior mode it bc in the last fight even though he was focused and winning on the scorecards compared to this past fight where he was easily irrtated in the press conferences and had the dog collar for the killer dog mentaility i think you saw it when he pointed at alex's kid and preteneded to be kod

@@aarongeerdts5405 Someone brought up the idea that izzy always gets beat by him in the last round because he switches from being offensive to just needing to survive the last round. I think it was Chael, basically said that Izzy needs to find a way to fight every round like there are still 5 more rounds to go, then he can finish it off. Well turns out it worked quicker than that.

@@JREGreatestHits imo its more of stylistic match up izzy performs best when he can set the range and counter strike which is why we see him have great performances i.e. coasta fight and first Whitaker fight he fights similarly to Alex in the sense that they do singular strikes izzy needed to stay in the pocket and throw combinations similar to the Russian guy that fought Alex in glory bc Alex guard naturally gives u opening he drops his left hand after the left hook which izzy batiing him countered with the straight right

"I wish I could win every fight and feel like I lost."
This is such a dumb statement.
If you KO/TKO or submit the opponent then that is conclusive, and there is no reason to feel like you lost.
A better statement would be, "I wish that I could win every fight, and feel like I could have ended the fight sooner."
    LOL

" You get lessons from losing that you don't get from winning."
I am not sure that is what he meant, because when Joe Rogan asked him about it, he didn't understand his own statement.
Even if that is what he meant, it is a moot point, because you also get lessons from winning that you don't get from losing.
Just rewatch Israel Adesanya's post-fight speech after he defeated Alex Perreira
