Glad it brought back good memories, it is a cracking walk albeit a long one. We all wish we had done Gray Crag on reflection but hey ho. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, very much appreciated. We have a walking group page on Facebook, free to all to join, a link is in the video description if you fancy it. All members share their walks and you can find out about Fat Boys trips 'Up North'
Love it Graham . So that’s what the scenery looks like 🤨I did it in June and couldn’t see a thing. I suppose I will have to do it again 😁😁😁. Keep up the good work, superb vids. 👏👏👏
A lakeland classic thanks for sharing Graham. I remember being completely broken at the end when I did this route. A stunning day out on the fells though and the beer always tastes better when you've earnt it!
Yeah it went down well. We couldn't get to Staveley quick enough. It was packed in The Eagle and Child it being a Saturday but we barged in for some Dark Liquid Salvation and dipped our feet in the beck
Epic walk Graham, we’ll done to all👍🏻. The disappearing cairn on Ill Bell definitely a mystery though. ‘Take it the group’s revisit and celebration of Shipman Knotts greatest moment didn’t make the final cut 😁 Cheers 👍🏻
Another fabulous video Graham though I have to say after the walk, why didn’t you go into the fabulous, Hawkshead Brewery Tap, in Staveley? Ill Bell or 3 bell?
Ended up in the Eagle and Child. It was a Saturday and it was packed, so went back to Coniston where we were staying and the final pictures are from the Black Bull. That didn't end until we were kicked out 🤣
Thanks Graham for a reminder of this classic, which I have done in both directions. Sorry to be pedantic, but in your commentary on the route you got North and South confused. Was that after the pub?!
@@FatBoysonTourHikingVideos Hope to see you out there one day. I seem to be following in your footsteps. Two days ago I walked the Cumbria Way from ODG to Keswick. Living in Salford, I can do a day at a time. What a fabulous walk over Stake Pass!
Thoroughly enjoyable watch, Graham 👍👍
Brilliant as always Graham. It’s a great walk. And even time for a “stick dance“ on Shipman Knotts :-) !
Fantastic
Had to be done mate lol
Nice one. Well done. A Lakeland classic. Brings back memories from when I completed this one a few years ago. Thankyou for a great vid.

Another cracking video Graham and a superb walk. The Yoke, Ill Bell, Froswick ridge is really good with great views. Great stuff. Cheers. Eddie.
Thanks Eddie, great day
Great video look forward to September and more great views
Good companionship, a happy group, a pleasure to watch!
Yeah we get on well, loads of thorns with one beautiful Rose x
Love it Graham .

Absolutely brilliant, great videos I need to get up around the fells. May see you some time either at the top or at the pub 👍🏻
I sure hope so David, I'll drink to that. Thanks for watching
Only done this round once, but boy would do it over and over again!
