This is a GREAT VIDEO!!! The other day, we had a heavy “conversation” with the triplets who wanted their own individual phones just because they needed to get a text message to unlock their email account. This has saved us HUNDREDS of dollars!
John, it seems that either a phone or a usb security key is needed for Google 2-Factor, and printing "backup codes" is just a backup for those. Backup codes are therefore not an alternative, in themselves, for not using a personal device for 2-Factor. Could you make that more clear in your video?
I am using my admin account and I don't have the two factor authentication option. I have been trying to find the answer for this nightmare and I could find my other people with the same problem and no solution
You're trying to enable 2FA for your account? If you don't see that option to enable it, you may need to turn on this feature using the Google Admin Console. This video should help: ruclips.net/video/iCBH5B9wSdg/видео.html
@@jrsowashThank you very much! I had watched your video, but I finally figured out what was wrong, now the screen layout has changed, hiding the security option in the left menu, which requires clicking to expand. It's unbelievable how much time I wasted trying to find it. Thanks again!
I have forgotten my gmail id recovery gmail now account recovery code is coming on mobile number but again google is asking for recovery gmail and not logging in

This will depend on the settings your admin set for your domain.

This does not work. It says my device (linux) cannot create passkeys. I cannot use 2FA with google account.
I haven't tried setting up 2FA on Linux. I'm not sure why there would be special requirements.
Same
