    This is awesome! I was thinking that you also could put an outdoor strobe on the outside of that shed, even know there is 2 on the main garage, but still that would be so cool!

    • @nics-systems-electric
      @nics-systems-electric  Год назад +2

      Thanks the only reason I would add an outside strobe is if I had a relay to set it off for only that building as a way to show which building is an alarm without going to the main panel use a blue strobe to show that building

      @@nics-systems-electric That would be a good idea actually! But you know what you could also do if moisture isn't a problem. Is you could put an annunciator in there as well! I guess that would mean pull more wires as well, so I don't know lol.

    You should put up a strobe only in the shed because you do a monthly fire alarm test and what if people are at the school and you are testing your system and they hear the horn strobe they’ll might call the Fire department on you

    if the panel was silenced, and not reset, the heat detector might not have triggered the alarms since the monitor module was still in a state of alarm due to the station being pulled, and since the system was silenced. the monitor module couldn't reactivate the system because its already in a state of alarm.
    if the panel was reset however and the module was reset, then idk why the heat didnt trip the system

    I know you are doing this assembly for your personal use, I have already refused an inspection because the electrician with unsheathed the fire cables without the small cord. It cost them a lot of money to replace all the wiring without relying on a much more thorough inspection.

    • @nics-systems-electric

      Not exactly sure what you’re talking about with unsheathing a cord are you referring to something to do with the non-metallic cable or the FA BX?

    Why did the supervisory beep go from a really sped up sort of marchtime it turned to marchtime with a sort of sped up code 3 beep? Old: BEP! BEP! BEP! BEP! BEP! BEP! BEP! BEP! BEP! BEP! New: BEEEP! BEEEP! BEEEP! BEEEP! BEEEP! BEEEP! BEEEP! BEEEP! BEEEP! BEEEP!
    Edit: 40:54 I have a theory why the alarms didn't sound, maybe the negative of the alarm circuit is on the same nac as the relay? Or does the panel know that's something is off when it's like that and goes into trouble?
