Been dreaming of a build like this, as its just about the only "convertible" you can build that doesn't look stupid with a safety cage lol.
I don't 4x4 very much in my subie but every time I do it's always the jeep that breaks something. 😂 Best to keep them on the pavement and very nice looking jeep you have there 👌
Cool look, I have thought have doing something like that myself, but I would keep 4x4 probably by putting a ZJ full-time setup together with a 408 magnum. You could do a lot with a frame drop. Maybe not that low, but pretty low.
If you noticed at the beginning, there was something rattling around and couldn’t get clean exhaust audio. We were under a time crunch and filmed this on his lunch break in an hour. He’s local though so I plan on filming more content with it.
In 98 i saw a YJ lowered like this. It was black with a checkered flag on the hood. Always thought it was cool. Not enough people lowering jeeps like this
sorry bro, it’s just not a jeep without four wheel drive. To each his own as far as what you want to build, that’s everyones right, but driving a wrangler myself, the whole essence of what a jeep represents is the king of 4 wheelers. It’s just a personal opinion on jeeps as a specific class, so nothing personal. As I said, to each his own and thats what freedom is all about!😉👍👌
A stock LS2 was barley 400 at the crank! Your lookin at high 300 to wheel and can’t believe you were thinking of putting those hideous 20 inch wheels, but your Jeep is awesome!
