How long are you going to be off work and what are your complications? I’m having mines December 18, 2020, that’s the reason I’m asking you these questions.
i have gone through the same situation in last two years , i am searching for the exact causes of fibrodenoma , it happens in usually in lactative women , and i am a virgin .. i am being judged by my friends that i should get married now because of these lumps , i dont know if other girls have faced the same ? because even world's doctors haven't found the exact cause of it yet , i have gone through two surgeries and maybe i face the third now , after each surgery i have felt the same as you ... i just want you girls to post causes of it so people can know the reason of it and don't judge others ...!!
I found out I have this yesterday and I was so scared because I thought it was cancer. Mine is super small and painless. I get it checked again in six months but I've had this lump for 5months and it's still so small so I hope it doesn't grow anymore because surgery scares me!!
Mc.Kenzie Grace don't worry if you do have to have surgery! I used to be so terrified but actually once you're there it's the easiest thing, the build up just feels awful xx
Heyyyy..I'm from India..I also have a fiberdenomia.. doctor suggested me some tables but I want remove those tumers..tumers are in both d breasts and sometimes hurts like a hell .. surgery hurts lot??????
Hey thank you for sharing the experience I am also going for surgery next week!! Just want to know if the removal of lump leaves any deformity to the breast?
I've never had the numbing gel put on my hand before the cannula and it has never hurt, I barely feel it, it's so interesting how receiving pain varies with different people. I'm glad you found the tumours though, I suffered for like 1,5 years before I was diagnosed (I had cancer) (also dissolving stitches are like the best things that have been invented) :) xx
I think because I already have a fear of needles it made everything worse, like when she was removing my dressing I wasn't in pain it was just the idea of it :') even my biopsy with extra local I still struggled with it lots. How are you now?? Are you still receiving treatment? They are omg they're wonderful xx
Ruby Woods yeah you're right that probably made it so much worse, I can't even imagine. all pain is psychological anyways so it's just what each person fears. I'm fine now thanks, I got diagnosed way back in 2012 and I had 13 months of treatment so it's been quite a while. My last check up is in September this year. Sometimes I wish I'd got the cancer a bit later bcos I was only 13 back then and there were a few complications so I reckon I could've handled everything better a few years later. But luckily it's all over now :)
I'm so glad you're okay now! That must have been so difficult to have to deal with something of that scale so young. I struggled even with my fibroadenoma's at 19 and 20 so I can't imagine. It's just so important for people to realise that it's very real and how literally everyone needs to check xx
Stefi Turner OMG 13??!!!! 😢 I’m so sorry you had to pass through this nightmare and at such a young age 😢 glad everything is ok now, hope u never pass through such a thing ever again 🌸
OMG i’m so sorry you had to pass through the same thing all over again 😢 hope u never pass through such a thing ever again. i’m TERRIFIED and dunno how i’m gonna do my surgery 😢
Honestly, don't worry I was so so worried but they were so good at explaining and dealing with my questions the whole thing was so much better than I thought! xx
Ruby Woods thank you so much for your reply and encouraging words. it’s giving me anxiety as i have a phobia of everything medical related plus i’m super shy 😢 one of my biggest fears is that i’m gonna be knocked out during the surgery. how painful is it after the surgery and does it leave a scar? 😢
@@katkoot28 honestly don't worry, I'm terrified of hospitals too, I told them before hand so they knew, and they were all so so nice about it. The surgery was just a giant nap and actually so relaxing. I was left with tiny scars around the nipple but thats it and you can hardly see them. It was painful after surgery but nothing overly bad and they give you drugs, its just more being sleepy for a few days and remembering to rest up xx
Ruby Woods thank you so much for your reply ❤️ glad everything went well for you. please pray for me 😢 ughhh i want this nightmare to be over and to have a CLEAN result 😢
Hi, how long were you on the surgery waiting list for? I'm from the UK too and have been on the NHS waiting list for nearly 2 years. Bit worried as it's growing.
Hiya, I was seen very quickly as I have a family history, they asked me when I wanted my operation and I'm pretty sure I was in the next fortnight. It really depends on department, mine was really good. Do you know the size yours is currently at? Have you had your biopsy? xx
Hiya, so sorry for my late reply! I'm in uni so life is crazy, I didn't actually feel any pain before the surgery. It hurt when applying pressure on the tumours and my breasts are very sensitive now but not before xx
Renée Sadora other than that mine is painful, i also keep on getting very sudden stabbing and shooting and recently even throbbing pain that lasts for a few moments or sometimes more 😔 but mine isn’t fibroadenoma, my biopsy showed that i have a nodule of atypical cells (abnormal cells) so i must do a surgery as it increases the risk of breast cancer plus they want to make sure what it is. i’m a nerve wreck 😢
I'm having my fibroadenomas removed tomorrow. I'm really nervous but this video reassured me a lot :)
Hi Lula! How did it go? I have my surgery in 2 days and I feel a little bit nervous
@@thewoodenhook it went really well! I was tired and sore for a few days but I feel completely fine now. Good luck! :)
