HikeArt: You are one amazing woman. very very nice job! I am one of your students and I really appreciate your lectures. I do want to ask you for a favor anytime before I die: can you teach us how to: (1) wrap a nutrition label around a bottle/render? how do you do that perfectly to match a real bottle? so if I take a photo of the bottle and I have a label designed, please show us how to use illustrator to wrap exact label around exact bottle. THANKS! Robert-Texas

@hikeart please help me. I can,t put or drag images in Perspective Grid after command Shift+v.
Make sure that a "grid plane" you are trying to drag your image onto is active ( left plane number "1" key on your keyboard, right plane "3", or horizontal plane "2"). I hope this will help.
its because your design has a png or jpeg image in it
Thanks. Another great vid.

Hello Hikeart. I have question that i can not figure out. I followed all steps. But I am unable to drag the artwork I made to left plane. It is as if my artwork is locked! no idea why...layer is not locked. if I draw anything it is fine but the artwork which is grouped already...just does not move...please tell me why and how can I move it to place it in left plane? if I draw or type text it is fine and I am able to place in left plane. but the artwork I made just does not move! please advise. thank you
I have the same problem. And I'm 3 years late...
That's nice...
Thanks
Thanks
Hundreds thousands like from me
Now I know.. Thanks for the video
Thank you for watching!
I finally was able to drag all three panels to the Grid. However, I was not able to attach the traced image to the grid. Would you happen to know why this is occurring?
What kind of image is it? Is it a photo that you've traced?
Perhaps my other tutorial will help ruclips.net/video/u45VneH47zU/видео.html
you should try expanding it before.
Nice tutorial. Clear and easy to follow, Bye bye. XD
Super happy to hear that :) Thank you for watching!
Im guessing this doesn't work for pngs that I bring into illustrator? As when I try to click and drag it won't let me.
Hi
Mam I tried so many time this practice But in vain.dont know where I make mistake.this show an error when I press shift +v then show an error ,that symbol can not resterize.
Please guide me In this respect.
Thx great beautiful awesome
Thank you for watching!
Love ❣️❣️❣️❣️
I couldn't move my images into the perspective..i checked the lane also which is correct.. Wat would be the problem??
Same problem did you get the solution 😢
Hi Hikeart, I have no problem if these posters are vector. But I have some images combine with these posters, so I can't apply this technic. Please help me explain that problem. Thank you so much!
You will need to vectorize those images. Illustrator is a vector program, and you'll run into issues using raster files with it. (distortion, quality loss, finite size, etc.) If using this method with a restor file, make sure your source file is larger than what you're skewing it to.
Thats voice
great...thanks....!
Better than UDEMY 👍

Hi Hikeart
Urgently need your help. I created 3 panels for a cereal box however I grabbed one panel with the perspective tool and holding Alt to drag the panel and nothing happens. It is not working. Please can I send it to you and you can tell me what I am doing wrong?
Make sure you switch to the "Perspective Selection Tool" (Shift + V) before you drag the design onto a panel.
Please check out my other tutorials where I explain how to use the "Perspective Grid Tool" ruclips.net/video/MMHmfUlptzs/видео.html
Thank you for watching!
why cant i drag it even tho i press and hold shift it wont move
Make sure the "Perspective Selection Tool" (Shift +V) is selected, and one of the plane is active ( left plane number "1" key on your keyboard, right plane "3", or horizontal plane "2"). I hope this will help.
nice and thanku
Thanks for watching!
Hello, may I know why I can't pull my vector into the grid? I already grouped all the vectors like shown but I still can't pull the vector to the grid..
Be sure that the grid plane that you are going to place your artwork on is active and that you are using the "Perspective Selection Tool" (Shift+V)
Here is one of my previous tutorials where I explain how to use this tool ruclips.net/video/MMHmfUlptzs/видео.html
I hope this will help.
@@hikeart Thank you for replying. I have checked everything, even use the "Perspective Selection Tool" also cannot. Hmmmm
Update: I have to save it in Jpeg and then trace it, only it can be dragged into the grid 😅
I love ur last words .. bye bye !!!!
By the way , it's nice tutorial..
Thanks for watching:)!
it's not moving while trying with the perspective tool. Why?
Cant drag
why jpeg image doesnt fit to perspective.....must the object be vector ? or what ? would you help me out?
Please check out my previous tutorial where I explain how to do that ruclips.net/video/u45VneH47zU/видео.html
I hope this will help. Thank you for watching!
