Just saw your TWA diorama for the new terminal... Spot on! Great work..also visit your Kennedy here from time to time when I get stuck. I've built Houston Hobby as it was originally in the 60's and Houston Intercontinental in the 70's. my fifty vintage airliners now have homes....I have added runways into Hobby and the lighting inside the terminals and runways makes fantastic night views...I just wanted the airports the way I remembered them in their classic times...they have since been torn down and revitalized and look nothing like what I have made...thanks, Brian for the inspiration.

This actually brings back memories for me as I first arrived at the very terminal on a Iran Air 747-SP that shared the Pan Am terminal at JFK on January 18th 1978. It was starting to snow that late afternoon and by the time I left the airport there was almost a foot of snow on the ground.
For the next 18 months, I would go there to pickup friends and family who were moving on to different parts of the country to get them to the TWA or other terminals as I lived in Long Island. I would always get there a couple of hours early, park on the rooftop deck and watch the planes. The best airport for plane spotting (of course of places I’ve lived)
