@@RalphLooij Ooh I have not but that sounds fancy. I wrote that comment cause I went with my phone to the organ and found it was pitched differently, but What is that?
@@StephenJohnson-xg6kj most modern organs nowadays have equal temperament and pitch 440 Hz (maybe your organ too). However, historic organs often have different pitch (this organ has around 465') and another temperament. For example, meantone, which causes some harmonies to be perfect and some to be sounding very bad (not the case with this organ).
One of my favourites. Beautiful registration. Thanks Ralph!
I hope Ralph gets to play it on the real Green Monster soon!
No permission to share recordings of the Green Monster, sadly... Otherwise I would go there again...
Thanks!
@@RalphLooij Maybe you should ask the Green Monster himself not his assistants😂
A classic! One of my favourites from Buxtehude!
Certainly, the other setting BuxWV 209 is coming soon.
Wonderfully played. It's incredible how soft this North German oboe sounds.
Thanks, yes, it's very subtle.
Perfekt wie immer, eines schönes Stück und toll gespielt wie immer. Die gezogenen Register klingen wunderschön
Danke!
Wonderful Ralph!🤗👍👏👏👏
Thanks
Simply beautiful, a great composition!
Thanks!
This is wonderful. Thanks for sharing, Ralph!
Thanks, Vidas.
Just a disclaimer, this video is being played about a half step higher than the actual score.
@@StephenJohnson-xg6kj ever heard of historisch pitch and temperament?

Nice discreet hautbois.
It is, quite different from the French oboe ;)
