I want to show you a potential problem, if your washing machine shows the E18 Error Code, this is how can you fix it.

Great video👍 I have the E18 problem and when opening the filter the water flows out, not drips. Next time I run the machine the E18 re-appares. What could be wrong?
Hi! Unplugged the waste water outlet and discovered a button and lots of fabric that most certain hinderd the water to flush out. Running a testwash now. 🙏

May slowly the water can pass through blockage, but when quickly needs to let the water out it won’t work. If a hairpin block the pump and open the filter water will flow, as hairpin is a small object, but don’t allow the pump to work. I’d recommend to check the filter/ pump/ tubes thoroughly.

Hi, I am unable to unscrew the plastic cap there. It is too tight or something is blocking it. Any ideas on how i can do it?
Hi,
Probably something blocked the cap. If you cannot remove it, need to take off the drain pump. When removed all tubes may you can see what has stuck there and can clean out. Then you just need to return the pump.

I don’t have video to remove pump on Bosch washing machine, but I have on a Hoover Washing machine. The method is same, so you can follow the instructions .

@@georgesworkshop8600 you did funny story order a new Bosch off amazon and they cancelled my delivery and the day it was due I give it another go works fine i fixed the filter over and over couldn't get anything up there I just need to get a wall tie from work now ha thanks again

Please unplug your machine and a few minutes later the door will be available to open, even the door opener us not broken.
It must be a blockage somewhere around the pump or in the tube that join the drum and the pump. Usually black colour and around 5cm diameter.

My washer fin it's last wash, but since then it keeps flashing lock (key) symbol an going to 0 ? I've tried all obvious things 🙃 could I fix this myself ?

My first thought would be the child lock, this is normally 2 buttons combination. If not this, I ‘d say the door lock needs attention.

You should check the filter again. May something that was stuck deeply has moved after you previously cleaned it.

The filter could be opened anti clockwise. It’s hard to turn it and probably you did correctly, but the object that caused the blockage has stuck and not allow you to turn it. You need to take off the pump, otherwise you will broke the filter’s door. I have a video for a Hoover washing machine blockage in the filter. You can watch this video how to do.

Hi! Are you sure everything came out? You can try to unplug your machine and leave for 10 minutes, then plug in. May this will help.
Check the waste water outlet. Could be plugged with fabric.

I looked into and found out this means the inlet pipe is blocked and no water in the machine. There is a little filter where you join the pipe to the machine. Remove the pipe and clean the filter.

@@georgesworkshop8600 my girlfriend used every week…maybe twice a week..i just ordered a new door lock …maybe will work if i replace it..because before used to make a door sound and after door was block,but now dont happen that

I hope the door lock replacement will help, if not my guess is that, the carbon brush is maybe too worn or stucked.

How do I reset the sensor?

What sensor do you mean? I don’t know any sensor in washing machine. Is it in tumble dryer?
I've cleaned the filter thoroughly but still getting the Er 18 code coming up?
I assume there's a sensor to be reset or how does the error reading come about?
Sorry for the late response, there is no sensor, the error message is automatically deleted if the problem was solved. Did you check the waste pipe? May that is blocked and cause the issue. Or check the pump, it could be there a blockage. Like a stuck hairpin, plastic, coin and cannot come out to the filter.

This error code indicates a faulty analogue pressure sensor in your machine, which identifies how much water is in the machine. Any fault with this sensor stops the machine working efficiently and will need to be attended to.

The water is disgustingly dirty!! That wash needs multiple washes and rinses!!

The blocked water will mature in a short while. When filter has cleaned good to run a high temperature wash.
@@georgesworkshop8600 yes I discovered that it created an odor too despite the clothes being properly washed (as they were trapped inside), and THANKS to you and your video I eventually found the culprit!! However it took emptying manually the machine several times till I finally found the hair tyes which was back breaking using tube to manually remove excess water. THANK you 🙏💟

Hi. The E00 code does not indicate an error, but a positive result that the washing machine gives as a result of service testing. In other words, a washing machine Bosch tells us that the service test is passed, there are no errors.
