It looks like you could also access the pipe by turning the machine upside down! Nice to know what the E18 error code means as well!
Some people seem to think I am joking, but I empty out this hose once a year and always find something. Removing the front panel means I need to remove the dryer that sits on top and removing a bunch of other parts just to get to the hose. Screws at the back, the front and the bottom!

Ptr PLC Cleaning the pipe also means lifting off the dryer that normally sits on top. So this was the most practical option.
@@MaxMakerChannel designers can be unreasonable at times. We had a cheap Beko washing machine and it had lid at the same place you cut for the same service reasons. I thought this is normal.
Bosch is a startup and they are gaining experience.
@@MaxMakerChannel Its sad more than so Siemens and Bosch is in our reagon (East Europe) considered "top quality" and its priced above average manufacturers.
That is kind of so practical and ridiculous at the same time! Would have been nice if they put a little access door on.

I had to renew the brushes on my machine after ~10 years. So I thought , motor is below left , so take of panel. To take of panel you have to unscrew top, door etc. But, i have an RVS machine, front could not be taken of. So I reassembled everything and turned it upside down. And behold ; I did not even have to unscrew the motor, just the brushes and put in new ones. I also noticed the access I had to waterpump , drum etc. next problem I have I will just turn it upside down.
I heard the same. Apparently the bottom is easy to take off.

@@MaxMakerChannel I think, cutting that steel plate underneath would still be a better option. Or is there an argument against cutting this bottom plate?
Anton N. You can cut the steel plate, but in my bathroom there is the dryer on top. With the front plate cut, I don’t have to move any of the machines.
For anybody stupid enough to do this make sure you put anti slash gauntlets on your hands and wrists due to the fact it's razor sharp metal you've just made with the grinder.
Also the easy fix (not the best) would be to tilt and take the 12 screws from the base pan underneath. That will give you the access you need.
The best is to remove the front of machine. Takes 10 minutes.

I opened and checked all and no blockage but still I hear the noise and machine don' pump the water out and F18 blinking. What to do?
Did you check the impeller on the bottom right where the motor is? Could be hair stuck there. Or something in the pipe that goes to sewage.
