7:49 Is that a window down in the ground? Thats for the basement? Why is there a window there, just to give light into the basement? I thought basements were completely closed in.
Not sure if Freudian slip but so your family can Netflix and chill is WILD lol But yeah idk, seems really pointless unless you need it(in which case it's invaluable?). Power rarely goes out here too and a better backup is probably something more sustainable like solar with a battery.
What happens if the power goes out and the truck is not connected? Can you connect the truck and get the power to turn back on or dose it have to be connected before the power goes out? (Black Start) This would also be good to know because if you are in an extended outage, can you take your truck somewhere to charge back up to continue powering your home if its battery gets low and come back an plug in to power things up again? If you had solar, would it offset the amount of power needed for your truck? Like if your PV is producing 2kw and the demand is 3kw will the truck only provide 1kw? Same if it produces more, will it then charge the truck instead of drain it? Basically the truck acting like a Powerwall when connected and off grid.
Yes, you could plug it in after the fact. Problem is solar wouldn't power it enough. However, worst case scenario is to drive to a supercharger every two days and fill up
@ no it’s not. It’s simple math. You are getting a max of 11kwh. 48 amps x 240 volts with some loss. You have a 123kwh battery. Do the math. 123/11 =11. You would get 11% per hour in a perfect world but usually the truck only gets 10-10.5kwh wile charging. Do the math. You are not getting 15% per hour.
The EV market is shrinking largely due to a lack of confidence in the technology. Having a dual purpose for your EV is where the motor industry could turn it around, but many don't have this function. The only other cars in the UK that allow bi directional is the Mitsubishi Outlander & Nissan Leaf. V2H (Vehicle to Home) and V2G (Vehicle to Grid) will revolutionise the energy industry. The concept of virtual power stations will become a reality whereby everyones car will have this function either powering your house or feeding the grid so everyone shares the EV battery power.
@TheXtremeChannelMrX Not the CT but EV's in the UK. Carmakers are under pressure to meet the UK government's ZEV mandate, but some say that the mandate is unintentionally restricting the new car market. The charging infrastructure is poor here and people are buying more hybrids for their range advantages. I love the idea of having an EV that also powers your house, it's just not available in the UK.
The EV market is actually expanding. This year is going to be another record year for EVs. It is the gas car market that is shrinking and has been since 2017.

That is a huge benefit of having this electric vehicle and the package to provide power to your home. Elon is on a whole other level
It’s crazy cool. First time in my life I hoped for a power outage.
Trying to figure out which is cooler, that Balrog statue or the cyber beast powering your house...cool vid thanks for sharing.
Beast 100%
Balrog looks cooler
That's incredible Mr X, I don't know the Cybertruck would do that, have a good weekend 😊
All your CyberBeast videos are very informative. Learning a lot about these trucks.
This is so dope, would be fire for some off grid living
Pretty cool
Interesting. Thank you for taking the time to teach and explain. While I'll never own any of this, I'm always open to learning something new.
Cool stuff man
Did not know the CyberTruck could do that, very cool.
Tesla PowerShare is very impressive and I really didn’t know that could happen!
Very interesting. I never would have thought that this was a thing.
That is freaking wild
So interesting.....amazing what technology can do these days
That’s dope
That’s an awesome feature on this , very useful
Amazing car.
Alright..........That's really cool. I'll give you that one
FINALLY!!!!!!!! Lol
@@TheXtremeChannelMrX Oh trust me plenty I still don't like about it lol
Wow, that's crazy.
Probably the best use of the thing Ive seen 😂
two days!! thats waay more than i expected
Insane
7:04 Oh wow, I didn’t realise how square the back is, actually just looks like a box from behind, or maybe it’s just the angle we’re looking at here.
It does
@@TheXtremeChannelMrXYea I didn’t realise the back was so high, nearly level with the roof.
That's a cool feature
Interesting didn't know a Cybertruck could do that.
This is crazy
Recently found your channel. Are those drawing still going on? I think I have subscribed, ring, like, and now commenting. 😂
Yes. Just gave away 3 statues about 2 months ago
Que burrada 😢😮😮😮😮
Not to people who went though hurricane Milton
The more I see what the cybertruck can do the more it grows on me would be practical for them winter power outages
thats insane, i had no idea

It’s for egress (means of escape during a fire). It’s code

7,000+ sqft Mr X?!? Me thinks you need 2 or 3 power walls!
Then I would need 2-3 CTs too
This feels like an infomercial 😅
me want a statue !!
Becoming a cyber truck channel :p
Wall charger does not charge at 15% per hour. 9% at most per hour.
Mine is about 15% per hour.

@ you would need to be charging at 18.5kwh to get 15% in one hour and that’s not possible.
@ what’s not possible? Is you telling me what is happening inside my garage where you’ve never been when I see it every day.
@ you are only charging at 11kwh. Prove me wrong. Do the math. You’re wrong.

$2,500 is still outrageous for simply installing a power box like that.
