Ok friends-raise your hand 🙋🏼♀️ if you wish Danielle would get a little more excited about growing Amaryllis ☺️☺️☺️ just joking! Danielle-we love your enthusiasm and inspiration! It makes us all want to grow more of these beauties 🤩
You are so great at videos. A natural. A pleasure to watch. Even dumping the soil on the floor. Oops. Who hasn’t done that? I found you last year when I was searching videos on amaryllis and now follow you on all your other garden videos. I’m a long time gardener and owned my own landscape design install co so I’m not a newbie. I don’t watch many videos. Who the heck has the time when there is always things to do in the garden? Keep em coming. PS I buy a lot from Longfield.
The best, "I have to clean this up before my husband gets home!" Just THIS morning while making an unexpected nursery stop (the car just drives itself there), I said to lovely Jennifer the checkout lady, "I have to get these potted and placed before my husband gets home." Glad to know we all belong to the same club!
Danielle, please continue to share your amaryllis with us! I am especially intrigued with passing my bulbs along to my granddaughters! (Generation to generation! )
Long live the Amaryllis Queen- you are the best, Danielle! So fun, so much knowledge, love how excited you are. Looking forward to my amaryllis bulbs arriving soon, and am planning to pre-hydrate the roots like you showed last year. Can’t wait!
Love that kid of video, I'd absolutely watch the Longfield haul. (And I have, since I started the video, opened two tabs for different bulb order businesses.. They owe you a comission! ^^)
You are a breath of fresh air and you put a smile on my face and you are so pretty. You must make for a very good friend. A video by you makes my day. Thank you friend!
Dollar Tree, puppy aisle, big plastic scoops for dog food. Works great for scoops of bag soil. Lovely to see your enthusiasm! I may just try these again this year!
Gosh Danielle...I've never seen you so excited! It is like Christmas morning for you!! You definitely make me want to plant up lots of Amaryllis this year 😊😊😊
A friend gave me a bulb, it's a mini Amaryllis with orange flowers on a flattened stem. I got seeds from it so we'll see if I live long enough to see if they come from seed 😂 I actually worked for Van Bloems when they had a warehouse near me. Can't tell you how many ways I packed them or how many thousands we processed. Been growing them since. I used to send them to family & my daughter called them "grammaryllis" when she was little. She's 40 now, I'm the grandma.
Thanks Danielle, you're a dangerous one to follow, LOL. I bought one from them last year, and it was beautiful, and I had picked up a few of those boxed ones at Tractor Supply, because I watched your whole Amaryllis playlist, and now, I just ordered three more, all different! Didn't you say last year, you liked rose pots? They were taller than wide, and I've never seen them anywhere in that shape. I"ll have to look for some blue and white pots, which I love too.
Yes friend! They are getting harder and harder to find! My grandma always called them rose pots. I’m not sure if that was just a term she created? Or maybe a nursery business term? The only place I have been able to find them is Kens Gardens in Smoketown PA.
“Welcome to your new addiction” said so calmly and bluntly. Lol! I thought my need for Amaryllis was strong….then I started dahlias this year….oh boy! Of course I am behind on putting mine to sleep and therefore won’t get blooms until spring…..so now I have to buy more for Christmas time! What a pity. 😂 Have you tried “Rapido”? It is “just a single red” but the red is so brilliant and each stem has 7-9 flowers! It is crazy!
I found your channel around this time a year ago when I bought my first Amaryllis at a box store and had no clue what to do with it. I love your enthusiasm for that flower, it's so cute! I need to get some going for this Christmas.
Will definitely check out their website, thank you! I wish they did sponsor you and gave a discount code. You bought so many bulbs and this was a great video for them. I will also revisit your older amaryllis videos too.
"that's the money friends, that's the money " 😅🤣😉 I'm so excited for you !!! I didn't realize they last longer cut in a vase. 😜 20 bucks a stem, crazy !!! What a great idea !!! If you are going to have an addiction, best addiction to have 😆
I’m cracking up! Lol. You might as well move your dining room table over to the radiator with 35 more coming. Thanks for fueling my need for more this year AGAIN 😂. Now, where can I get some good pots?? I need to go thrifting I guess.
After watching this video, I went to the same website and placed my order. They just came today and I'm giddy like a kid on Christmas morning lol I have 11 bulbs from last year that I'll be forcing to bloom but I'm so excited about the new collection. Thank you for all the care tips and solid information you share....you are amazing 😊
Danielle, your enthusiasm is contagious! I have 12 bulbs in my basement. I'm waiting for them to do their thing. I think I may have left them outside a couple of weeks too long, so I may not have them blooming for Christmas. No problem. I had amaryllis blooming through April this year. Love them! ❤
In the past I've only grown Red Lion. But last year I caught the amaryllis bug from you! I grew Blossom Peacock, Terra Cotta Star, Red Pearl, Alfresco and Gervase. All grew beautiful flowers and it was so nice to have colorful blooms in winter.
Hi Danielle, you were over the moon happy today ❤️ with your favorite flower! And I was so happy for you! 😃 everyone watching today is going to want to grow an amaryllis or two or 20 lol because of your sheer excitement over them! You inspire us!!! Thank you! Btw because of you I did grow a jumbo red and white one last year and it was gorgeous 😍
l almost bought those amaryllis bulbs but stopped myself. I can’t take anything more to care for. I need a greenhouse! No more window space in the house and using window ledges when you have a house full of cats is problematic for me. But I love watching your enthusiasm! I have one amaryllis gifted to me years ago and every year it blooms for me. Time to split it this year.
Oh my goodness this video pushed me over the edge and I just ordered some of the beautiful varieties you showed. Thanks for another fun and informative video. Your intro was hilarious with all those boxes!
Wow! What a brilliant idea! I’ve grown amaryllis but never thought to sell them as cut flowers. Now my wheels are spinning for sure! It would be great to have another avenue during the colder months. And of course I love that it’s to fuel your own collection more! Happy growing. Can’t wait to see them all blooming!
What a wonderful idea Danielle ! Last year I started growing the first amaryllises of my life (I’m 62 😊) thanks to you and now I totally understand your addiction 😉 I also cut the ones that were too tall and broke and put them in a vase. I like the effect and found them more manageable. But I can imagine all those babies are going to take a lot of place inside the house 😨
Love your enthusiasm. I have my bulbs in cool dark space after watching your videos and cannot wait to see if they will rebloom for me. Thank you for all of the invaluable information regarding amaryllis.
Thanks for the video! I am interested to see how you might market or attract customers for the Amaryllis price point. Maybe a very specific customer? Wishing you luck!
I’m an old lady and I hav to say, I mean this in a good way but you are so cute and happy in this video. I love seeing someone share their joy. Even if I didn’t like amaryllis this video would make me want to try them!!
0 seconds ago Whoo hoo! This made my day. I love your idea of selling the stems. I wasn't going to buy any new amaryllis this year......I think I will just look. Lol! I'm sure there are a few I just NEED!! Dorian
Thank you for the great idea of making money from cuting Amaryllis and keeping the bulbs. It makes my dream of Amaryllis collection come true without breaking the bank. I just ordered 30 amaryllis bulbs in order to make and give away Christmas centerpieces for my daughter's school event. Couldn't believe I bought 30 bulbs without my husband 's complaint. 😊😊😊
I’m excited for you, can’t wait to see how you will arrange your cut Amaryllis in your bouquet. I’m excited to start planting one myself. Thank you for sharing.
Such a cool idea ! Can tell you are loving it. Where re you going to put them all tho to grow? Thats a lot of boxes of bulbs 😂 Those Dahlias in the vase look amazing 🌺🌺
love what ur doing. I went cray this year and bought 10 more bulbs. 😂tip..hit the dollar tree or dollar general or big lots early Feb and you will get all your gardening supplies for pennies instead of using kitchen items.. I also never water on the kitchen table or anywhere else where water drains out.. especially if you dont have a drip pan. and there are people watching that don't know better 😂. my mom owned a greenhouse all by herself at the age of 70 she had one built. by 72 she was profiting 250k a year by 75 she retired and bought a giant home on the beach. she sold it but im in the mind to follow in her footsteps. people flock to greenhouses and they never leave empty handed. and men love to buy pre arranged large pots for their porches.. succulent baskets filled to the brim make amazing table top gifts. get to thrift shopping and load up on baskets and fill em with succulents..$100 each. She also propagated all year round.. I miss that place and she wishes she started her adventure when she was younger...
I ❤ it!!!! I’m in a small apartment and i have 14 amaryllis. Total addiction. I really like these videos for all the info and the varieties you grow. Thanks!!!!!
I cut some of my flowers for the first time last year and put them in a vase...I was very impressed with how well they did as a cut flower. Defiantly cutting several of them again this year.
I didn’t even finish watching your video before I used the link to order amaryllis! You’ve got me hooked! I’ve got twenty in a dark closet resting after their summer outdoors and just ordered 5 new varieties! Is that enough amaryllis? Probably not!!
I ordered amaryllis from Amaryllis & Caladium bulbs two years ago. One that I ordered was out of stock so they replaced it with another variety which was the premium size and a more expensive variety. That's good customer service.
I loved this video, they are such beautiful flowers. I have not had so success in getting them to rebloom. One did and that was totally by accident after I had put it outside in the summer. Hi Susan! I had two rebloom in August also! The book by the RHS notes that sometimes they will rebloom again in late summer. They advise waiting 3 months after the 2nd blooming before putting that bulb into dormancy/cold period.
I recently feel in love with Amaryllis. Because of your recommendation, I ordered 3 Alasca White Amaryllis today from Amaryllis and Caladium Bulb Company which will be something wonderful to have blooming in the house in January.
Absolutely love your videos. I am ordering more amaryllis right now. This company should have sponsored you. I'm sure they will be wondering why all of a sudden their sales have increased. You got me hooked too and I just received my box! I ordered some pink ones that I want to bloom next Feb. Will they store that long or do I need to plant them all up now?
Thank you yes I am new to the bulbs. I got hacked from watching you last year. I stored mines from last year n looking forward to see what's going to happen n yes I bought more this year. Hope you gave enough ROOM to start your new collection 😀😀😀
Your enthusiasm for the Amaryllis is great! And what an important tip about looking to see if the bulb is a northern or southern hemisphere, had never heard that but I can depend on you for great information!! Looking forward to seeing your beautiful indoor garden.
This was fun watching you unbox your bulbs. I will be using this company to order some bulbs and am looking forward to that box showing up on my doorstep. Good luck with your new business endeavor.
Have always loved amaryllis since my dad gave me one when I was young. I have quite a collection already and many rebloom the next year and I love that! I will check out this new to you company and I may have to buy even more. I don't sell flowers, but I gift a lot of flowers and seeds. It would be helpful to mention the size pots you put your bulbs in, how tall and wide the opening is , yours are a bit taller than mine in appearance. I agree to put them in heavy pots and some I end up tying up to a cup hook on the wall. Thanks for your pure joy and knowledge.

Danielle found a reason to feed her addiction! I promise I would not buy any amaryllis this year, but you passed on the fever. 😍

I just love your excitement! I should really try amaryllis again. They bloom at such a perfect time of year.
Danielle, I love to see you nerding out about these Amarillis the way I do about things in my garden… I was smiling for you the whole time! ♥️
IO am amazed at the size of those bulbs!
It was fun seeing you so happy to get your amaryllis bulbs! That's what flowers do, create happiness.

Hi Danielle, Great video! I checked my iPhone pics and my Blossom Peacock was in full bloom on Feb 3rd. It's beautiful. Lots of blooms and long stems.

I ordered Amaryllis this year, thanks to you!! I am super excited for them to come in:)
Woohoo!!!! What varieties did you order??? Welcome to the club!
I am so excited. I cannot believe I didn’t think about selling them!!! You are brilliant.
I ordered amaryllis from Amaryllis & Caladium bulbs two years ago. One that I ordered was out of stock so they replaced it with another variety which was the premium size and a more expensive variety. That's good customer service.
It was so fun to see your excitement unpacking those bulbs. Thanks so much for sharing!😊
Love it! I have 35 amaryllis bulbs and just bought a slew more. Never enough!
I loved this video, they are such beautiful flowers. I have not had so success in getting them to rebloom. One did and that was totally by accident after I had put it outside in the summer. Not sure why it rebloomed in August. I am going to try again this year and maybe just buy 1 more. I find they are quite expensive here in the UK. Please show what you do with the cut flower. Sending Best Wishes from N. Lincolnshire UK
Hi Susan! I had two rebloom in August also! The book by the RHS notes that sometimes they will rebloom again in late summer. They advise waiting 3 months after the 2nd blooming before putting that bulb into dormancy/cold period.
Amadeus is a huge Amarillys mine bloomed so huge this year bigger than my 5 year olds head . Such a beautiful flower

Keep up the great content. I also sell cut flowers but have not thought of selling any of my amaryllis blooms or even cutting them. Can you send me a link to the picture of how you plan to arrange yours with pine. Thanks again.
This is exciting, but I am amazed at the things you do on your dining table without a cover.
You have me addicted. I bought Amaryllis last year. This will be my first year trying to rebloom them. Wish me luck. ❤
