Because the plants grow slower without fertilizer. All three trays were more purple when they were younger, but the ones with fertilizer were able to continuing growing instead of being stunted. Harvesting earlier will allow more purple to come through
Amazing content, as always! Quick question... Do you ever notice a few (almost none) ""roting"" or rather ""not so fresh"" radishes due to undergrowth, late germination, etc, undert the canopy? if so, do you treat them as "its normal let them be" or what do you do?
That tends to happen most often when too high seed densities are used and sometimes due to poor quality seed. Recommend between 20-25 grams for most radish varieties
Thanks for the vid. I never understood why they use coco coir. Does it even have any nutrients on its own? One quick question, should I mix the Gaia Green right before I make the trays? Or can I mix up a full brick of Promix with it and store it?
It's best to mix it in and use it within a few days. If it sits for a while, the fertilizer will start breaking down causing uneven growth week to week
The middle one seems better to be honest more color and smaller leaves ...the other 2 seem a bit unnatural ...why so ??

@@microgreensconsulting Alright. Thanks a lot!
Just wondering, why do you use ProMix HP instead of MP ?
Most growers use HP as its more easily available so trying to make content that is usable for most growers :)
