If someone told me I'd be actually watching legends like the FairLight crew 10 years ago, I'd ask them to pour me whatever they're thinking. Amazing times we live in.
I hope they expand to places like *_Odysee,_* free speech and way better rewards from viewer support.

It's not been very smooth. I had internal resistance (our brand should speak for itself) as well as external (stuff line this should be kept out of plain sight - only for the selected few).
You are welcome to help by spreading the word...

As 1 of the 4K subscribers we are still a select few, where are all those other 12.5 million (ex) c64 owners? :)

@@ErwinRol Life gets in the way, you know how it is. I only just realized that the FairLight crew are content creators myself. So much of my youth was impacted by these legends, yet it didn't cross my mind to look after so many decades. Glad I did, though.

Great episode, I appreciate it. It would be a lot of work on your end, but you could also make play lists for each topic and videos you have listed in the comments section. I appreciate the parts about coding. Living in Canada in the 80's there was really no scene there was nobody I could learn from. You're English and the way you speak is great, easy to listen to 😁👍

No scene in Canada in the 80s? ESI anyone? EagleSoft Inc. was a great C64 crackgroup, they were the first to break Rescue on Fractalus and claim the prize from LucasArts, and were the best Canadian sources for cracks and warez in Canada. They also got me in to Rush, as all their crackscreens had Rush song lyrics in them.

@@exidy-yt I'm comparing to what was going on overseas compared to where I was. Dont forget there was no internet, I couldnt just google demo scene groups or join a facebook group and start talking to coders who lived next to me. I ran my own BBS but even then, it felt like I was on a tiny island of my own, calling long distance BBS's was just out of reach I couldnt afford the bills to do that.

@@AnalogX64 True, and at 300baud LD disc transfers were atrociously expensive. Where I lived in Vancouver the warez came in via sneakernet from school to school through inter-school events and then BBS meetups so there was always a steady flow. And you could keep up on the scene from reading crackgroup intros as well. which is how we came to know about ESI. If you were in a small town I can see why you felt there wasnt much of a Canadian scene.
